UFC 244 takes place on November 2nd, 2019.

What a way to kickstart the month with the main event for the BMF Title. If eatures Jorge Masvidal vs Nate Diaz with The Rock apparently giving the winner the belt. People such as President Trump will be in attendance too.

This is going to be one massive PPV and I can’t wait for it. We’ve got the legend Derrick lewis in action, Kelvin Gastelum vs Darren Till, Corey Anderson versus Johnny Walker and much more.

Should be a great card and what’s nice is odds wise it’s all pretty even as opposed to some cards where it’s bloody hard to find betting picks.

I’ve been studying this one all week long knowing there is value to be had. Let’s hope I have found it. Let’s get to it:

UFC 244 Bets:

Nate Diaz to win. Do I think he will win? I don’t know. But I have to price this one at coinflip odds and we’re getting +150 on Nate. I was extremely impressed with Nate in his fight with Anthony Pettis. I loved the adjustements from the first round to the second and third. He’s really evolved as a fighter over the last couple of years. Jorge Masvidal is an absolute beast that is for sure. However he can be beat and someone with the cardio of Diaz is enough. Diaz wins this one enough to justify this bet. Masvidal has a lot of overhype.

Gregor Gillespie to win. He is fighting Kevin Lee. “The Gift” is 13-0 and is about to go 14-0 in front of a massive audience. Kevin lee will be going into this one messed up mentally after his weight jump and how that worked out. This will no doubt be Gillespies biggest fight but I think he can take this one nice and easily honestly. He’s finishing people and he doesn’t have the wrestling disadvantage others do against Lee. One of those fights where I look at it from every angle and I can’t see Lee winning at all. You can get him about -150 which is well worth a bet still.

Stephen Thompson to win. Man, Wonderboys stock has dropped in recent times hasn’t it? It’s concerning while Vicente Luque has really stepped it up lately. I think here we are betting on whether Wonderboy is done for or not. Is he just going to be one of those names that they cart out to bulk up a UFC on ESPN card? Or does he still have the magic? My bet is the latter and that’s why I am taking him.

Edmen Shabazyan to win. Man – Tavarez was on TUF 11. Seems so long ago. He comes into this one on short notice against Edmen Shahbazyan who is 10-0 and has looked like a beast. This will be a good fight to gauge where Edmen is at possibly. Nice little educational fight. However I’m expecting Edmen to steamrole Tavares like he does and get the first round KO.
