UK Open 2014 Day Two Premium Picks.

What a day of darts yesterday, it was unrelenting! Undoubtedly, the highlight of the day was Phil Taylor losing to Aden Kirk, but there was many, many more memorable moments, including Cristian Kist coming agonisingly close to a 9-darter, missing the double. Then there was Stephen Bunting’s comeback from the dead, hitting an under pressure 151, then closing out the final leg in style to beat Kevin Dowling 9-8. Barney showing a continuation of his recent good form was a pleasure to watch. And Gary Anderson also continues to impress, as well as, of course, Michael van Gerwen. It was a great start to the 2014 UK Open.

As with yesterday, too many matches to individually to go through, so I’ll be picking out my best bets. And, as usual, because of the quick turnaround between matches, I won’t be able to do the next round, as the bookies don’t get their prices up in a good enough time for me to analyse them.

Alex Roy to beat Ian White: Best price 5/2 @ Victor Chandler

Recommend: 2 units.

Kim Huybrechts to beat James Wade: Best price 6/4 @ Paddy Power

Recommend: 2 units.

Simon Stevenson to beat Jamie Lewis: Best price 9/4 @ Coral

Recommend: 1 unit.

Mervyn King to beat Dave Chisnall: Best price 6/4 @ Paddy Power

Recommend: 1 unit.

Paul Hogan to beat Mark Webster: Best price 11/4 @ Sky Bet

Recommend: 1 unit.

Christian Kist -1.5 legs to beat Vincent van der Voort: Best price Evens @ Bet365

Recommend: 2.5 units.

Dean Winstanley to beat Stephen Bunting: Best price 2/1 @ Victor Chandler

Recommend: 1 unit.

That’s it for the second day of darts at the 2014 UK Open. We’ll be back tomorrow and all weekend with Premium Picks for the final day of the 2014 UK Open.
