Just a quick heads up that the next few days are going to be busy for me so I may not be able to do tips.

I’ll try my best but we have plans every day so it’s a case of having to squeeze them in while I can and hoping no other work pops up that takes priority.

With all that said let’s get to covering the English Premier League action taking place on August 24th, 2019:

Norwich vs Chelsea Betting Tips:

It’s been an interesting start to the season for Norwich. They got thumped 4-1 by Liverpool but their manager Daniel Farke didn’t abandon the tactics and principles he has for their next game against Newcastle and they ran out 3-1 winners.

A rocky start for Chelsea thus far with a 4-0 loss at Man Utd followed by that 1-1 draw against Leicester.

Much like last week, Chelsea seem to be the favourite based more on name value than anything else.

Norwich are missing a few players still however have more options available this week at the back. Jamal Lewis should be good to play too. Chelsea fans will be hoping to see Willian start.

Norwich got promoted last season due to home performances more than anything else and they are excellent here. Chelsea are a team that are yet to impress and I believe it will take Frank Lampard a lot of time to really get going here. Hopefully they give him that time.

It honestly wouldn’t shock me if Norwich got the win here but I’ll go with the safer play.

Brighton vs Southampton Betting Tips:

A decent enough start for Brighton this season. A 3-0 win away to Watford followed by that 1-1 draw at home to West Ham. Brighton really should have won that one too honestly as they played some good football and had some great chances.

Southampton are still seeking their first win of the season. They lost 3-0 to Burnley then lost 2-1 to Liverpool. They had quite a solid performance in that one actually.

I like a lot of what I have seen from Brighton so far. Graham Potter looks to be the right choice for Brighton and is really getting them going.

Southampton have also did better in the xG stats in both their games this season. They’ll probably make a couple of changes here to fresh things up however after two losses.

I think there is a good chance for goals in this one. Southampton have just got to get a tad better at their finishing and I think you can count on Brighton to get the goals too. They have a solid goalscoring record over the last year especially at home lately and I like them to keep that going here.
