The Golden State Warriors blow another game and will head to LA with a 3-2 lead.

As two people with big futures bets on the Milwaukee Bucks to win the NBA Championship – we’re feeling pretty damn good right now.

The Houston Rockets meanwhile make it to the next round of the playoffs. The Utah Jazz defence did tighten up enough to restrain the Rockets but it wasn’t enough and their offense couldn’t do the job.

Thursday, April 25th sees the 6th game in the Nuggets vs Spurs series. The Nuggets lead 3-2 and it is in San Antonio.

Let’s get to it:

Nuggets vs Spurs Game 6 Betting Tips:

Vin: The Nuggets have a chance to close this series out tonight with a road win against the Spurs. Prior to the series, I picked the Nuggets to win this one in six games and that has a chance to pay off nicely here.

The story with Denver has been that they have never been here before and therefore were not ready. Well, they learned fast. They lost their first playoff game in game one and bounced back in game two, then lost their first playoff road game in game three and bounced back in game four. The thing about betting on inexperience is that it doesn’t last. You gain experience as you go.

Over the last two games in this series, the Nuggets have shot 50 percent from three-point land while playing outstanding defense. That is hard to defeat, especially for a team like the Spurs who shoot so infrequently from downtown.

This game will ultimately come down to the play of the Nuggets wing players. Will Barton was moved to the bench earlier in this series and he has shined in a bench role. While Gary Harris, especially on the defensive end, is a big part of everything that Denver does. He did a great job shutting down Derrick White in game five. Of course, it’s Jamal Murray who can ultimately decide this series.

When he’s been on in this series, there has been no answer from the Spurs. I believe that he will be as the Nuggets, much like the Blazers the other night, smell blood in the water and want to close this out now.

Graeme: I said this series would go 7 games and the Nuggets would win at +325 so I’ll be rooting for the Spurs tonight.

Game 5 was an interesting one though as it was the first time the teams didn’t trade wins. The Nuggets blew the Spurs away 108-90. Actually every Nuggets win has been a dominant one.

Game 5 was a massive win for them and so it makes for a very interesting game tonight.

I think we see a high scoring game that goes over. Either a close one or the Spurs making a statement.
