It’s time for our weekly check in with our friends over at Sports Interaction.

In these weekly articles we sit down with the guys over at Sports Interaction and get THEIR perspective on things. It’s always cool to see how the week went for the bookies. They are always honest – if they had a bad week they’ll be sure to tell us and if they had a great week – they’ll tell us all the more about it!

Let’s see how Week 13 in the NFL was, and how things went for them elsewhere.

Week 13 – Good or Bad?

Overall, a solid week. NFL and NHL went well for us. NBA and soccer? Not so much – bit it worked out good.

What went wrong for you?

Broncos. They beat the Chiefs and covered, and the Broncos are always a huge public pick. When we set the lines we were expecting a lot of action on the Chiefs – I mean they went into that with an ATS record of 9-3-0. That’s the best in the NFL. And Chiefs have beaten Broncos the last few games – last time Broncos won was with Tebow.

But the public went all over the Broncos there and won handsomely.

What went right?

Packers over the Patriots – that kick cost them big. Patriots had a lot of action all week long. That was a great game though and a potential preview of the Superbowl. If it ends up being Patriots vs Packers in the Superbowl we wouldn’t be surprised to see it be a PK – which would be the first PK in the history of the Superbowl.

The Grey Cup didn’t work out too well for the public either in the CFL. Many people had the Tiger Cats outright, rather than take them with the 8.5 points that SportsBettingTips.org suggested. If that punt return TD had been allowed then it would have been a good night for them.

How’s the NBA?

A lot of people are fading the Lakers at the moment. We’re also seeing more action than usual on the Raptors – well, compared to previous seasons at least. After their last few games – we don’t know if we’ll see that much for the next few weeks.

Soccer is heating up with the big teams – I mean they’re all performing well. Both Manchesters, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Munich. All getting a lot of action.

Any Big Winners?

A crazy 225/1. It was a 9 fold parlay covering soccer.

Where’s The Action This Week?

On the Colts over the Browns. That line opened at -3.5 and drifted very quickly to -4. Although now we’re seeing it even out and the Colts are -3 at some books. Interesting one that.

Broncos are getting a lot of action over the Bills. That one is at -10 as of this writing but we think it will hit -10.5 before game day. One line that’s interesting is the Raiders. We’re seeing a fair amount of action on them at +9 against the San Francisco 49ers. We didn’t expect that much action so we’re looking into it and may see some changes.
