After months of more sports than anyone could possibly watch, December calms down quite a bit. This month will mainly be highlighted by football as the NFL gets down to the final weeks of the season. Can Tom Brady get his new team to the playoffs? Will the Chiefs set themselves up for another run to the Super Bowl? Does anyone want to win the NFC East? The final few weeks of the season should be good.

The NFL isn’t the only football this month, we also have the final couple of weeks of college football followed by the Conference Championship games. December 18th and 19th should be a great weekend of football as we figure out the College Football Championship teams. The end of the month will also see the first few bowl games.

Basketball makes its return this month as well with the 2020-21 NCAA basketball season kicking off. We are also going to potentially see the NBA return which is going to be very interesting to see for teams like the Lakers and Heat who would normally had a much longer layoff. The NBA is targetting their annual Christmas day games for the start so stay tuned to see what happens there.

There are some big fights as well with Anthony Joshua defending his heavyweight championships against Kubrat Pulev at the O2 in London. UFC will also bring UFC 256 with Amanda Nunes vs. Megan Anderson announced so far.

December also features a ton of big soccer matches as the Premier League and UEFA Champions League continue their schedules. This month also features the U.S. Women’s Open in the LPGA, the final two Formula One races of the year, and much more.
