October 2016 Sporting Events Calendar


Welcome to the October 2016 Sporting Events calendar.

We’ll see the return of the NBA and NHL in this month.

There’ll also be some crucial games in the NFL and of course in soccer leagues all over the world. Especially in the EPL where all the transfers and changes start to gel.

Should be a good month – especially with the WWE brand split and two separate PPVs to look forward to.

The post season begins on October 4th going on until the 23rd approximately. The World Series will begin on October 25th.


October 25th, 2016 sees the return of the NBA with the Knicks vs Cavaliers the opening game. Should be a great season!

The Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe is on October 2nd. British Champions Day at Ascot is on the 15th of the month.

The Super League Grand Final is on the 8th.


The Chicago Marathon is on October 9th, 2016.


World Cup qualifying will take place on October 6th-8th weekend.


WWE has two PPVs in October.

The Smackdown Brand has No Mercy on October 9th, and the RAW brand has Hell in a Cell on October 30th. No Mercy is in Sacramento, California and Hell in a Cell is in Boston, Massachusetts.
