September is a big month on the sport calendar. The biggest news is the start of the football season in both the NFL and in college football. The season kicks off with a bang with the champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosting the Dallas Cowboys. Week one of college football is highlighted by the U of Miami taking on the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Baseball is starting to wrap up this month as well. There are some big races in the American League and National League that could come down to the final weeks of the season.

This will also be an excellent month for combat sports. One of the highlights that I am looking forward to is AEW All Out. This is always a big event and the debut of CM Punk makes it even bigger. There are also two big UFC Vegas shows as well as UFC 266. Boxing fans will also be interested in Oscar De La Hoya vs. Vitor Belfort this month as well as Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk.

NASCAR playoffs, three Formula One races, the finals of the US Open, and the end of the PGA season are just a few of the many events this month.
