It was 1-1 for a slight profit with the MLS Tips posted for August 15th, 2018.
We lost with LA Galaxy -1 over the Colorado Rapids. Colorado managed to sneak a goal in within the last 10 minutes to tie it up 2-2 just a few minutes after Galaxy had taken the lead. Was a crazy curling goal – be sure to check it out on the highlights.

We won with our double at 2.17 odds of LAFC to win and DC United vs Portland Timblers Both Teams to Score which was nice.
For Friday, August 17th I feel like really diving into some stats based picks. Nothing I enjoy more than brewing a nice strong cup of coffee, then sitting around looking at stats for an hour. Sad I know.

I think there is some value here in taking Vaasa PS away.
Turku PS really struggle to score. That’s their main issue this season as they sit bottom of the league tied with PS Kemi. They have the worst offensive record in the league and the 3rd worst defensive record. Even at home they’re poor although not as bad as away.
Vaasa PS are a remarkable away team with the 2nd best record in the league, next to league leaders JHK Helsinki. They’ve got a solid offense and defense and are one of the most in form teams when you go by the last 8 games.
They’ve had a couple of struggles lately and are winless in their last three however I think their defense is good enough on the road to keep Turku PS at bay.

Big game here with league leaders MuSa on the road at FC Jazz.
FC Jazz are one of the best teams in the league at home and they’d be battling at the top of the table if it wasn’t for dismal away form. They have just 3 points out of 6 games and also have the third worst goalscoring record in the league.
However they have a very tight defense as do MuSa. MuSa have logged a fair amount of clean sheets lately with 5 in their last 8.
However MuSa do concede more away which is where FC Jazz can score so I like this one to be balanced out due to that.
MuSa are favourites for a reason however I like these two teams to cancel each other out.
