Well that Atalanta or Draw bet hurt just a bit.
Not as bad as my 150/1 Cameron Champ to win or place in the Top 8 bet in last weeks PGA tournament crashing and burning on the final day, but it still hurt.
Atalanta were 1-0 up and decided to park the bus. Not the best strategy against a team of PSGs calibre. It did look like it was working out unfortunately PSG scored in the 90th minute. No worries that’s why we took Atalanta or Draw.
Then welp – they scored again.
Brutal.
We’ve got two games to cover in the Champions League on Friday and Saturday so let’s look at them. I’ll probably then be back Saturday for the Europa games. I should be able to cover the SPL games soon too just waiting for more data to come in.
Barcelona vs Bayern Munich Betting Tips:
It’s been a 100% perfect tournament for Bayern Munich thus far. They looked like they hadn’t lost a beat as they thumped Chelsea 4-1. Barcelona meanwhile have struggled. Yeah they are unbeaten however have drawn against Dortmund, Slavia Prague and Napoli. They also struggle to keep clean sheets with zero clean sheet victories in their Champions League campaign.
The bookies have Bayern Munich as 1.95 favourites to win in 90 minutes. Barcelona are 3.50 odds to win with the draw at 3.90.
Barcelona also failed to win La Liga which must have been crushing for them so they need to progress here more than ever before.
To me – Barcelona are a team that will have to play their A++ game here to get a result. Problem is at many times during the season they don’t even bring their A game. Bayern Munich on the other hand are a machine and just keep doing the business.
Barcelona will see Busquests and Vidal returning that will help them.
Honestly ofr these types of games it is rare that you get any betting value. It’s more just betting for entertainment I feel. With that said Munich just look like the team to beat and if Barca can beat them then props to them.

Man City vs Lyon Betting Tips:
Man City are heavy favourites at 1.22 odds to win here in 90 minutes.
City have been unbeaten the entire Champions League campaign with two draws oagainst Atalanta and Shakhtar in there. Lyon have struggled and stumbled but amazingly were able to sneak the win over Juventus over 2 legs.
No-one is giving Lyon a shot in hell though here with losses to Benfica and Zenit.
City will be missing Aguero but of course they have the depth.
Pep knows he needs to win the Champions League and I like this to be a real statement game. They know they can’t get complacent as this team did manage to get through over Juventus.
City defensively make BTTS tempting. However I’ll go with City to flex their muscle instead.
