The battle atop the NFC continues as there are currently three times tied with an 11-3 record and we could see a fourth added tonight. The 49ers were in the driver’s seat, but they lost to the Falcons after a wild fourth quarter that saw the Falcons put up 19 points to come from behind. The Packers won against the Bears to clinch the playoffs and the Seahawks beat the Panthers. All those teams are now 11-3 with Seattle holding the tiebreakers thanks to their wins over the Packers and 49ers.

With a Saints win tonight, we could see another team added to that mix. They are at home against the Colts here who have had a surprising season since the retirement of Andrew Luck. They are really struggling right now having lost five of their past six and they basically need to win out to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

The Saints are -9 favorite tonight as they have a lot more at stake in this one and they have a 5-2 record at home on the season.

NFL Betting Tips:

Indianapolis Colts at New Orleans Saints: It’s really hard for me to go against the Saints here, especially with some history on the line for Drew Brees. He is just three touchdowns shy of breaking Peyton Manning’s career passing touchdowns record of 539. While the Colts defense has been pretty solid this season, they did allow 38 points to the Buccaneers last week and this offense is much more explosive.

I just think that the Saints are going to come out hot here as they know that the Superdome can be a huge homefield advantage for them in the playoffs. They need to win to get in that mix and Brees throwing touchdown passes is just the icing on the cake.

Bet Saints -9

NBA Betting Tips:

Dallas Mavericks at Milwaukee Bucks: The Bucks are going for 19 straight wins here and they have the good luck of the Mavericks being without Luka Doncic. This had the potential of being a great test for them, but without Doncic I just don’t believe in the Mavericks offense very much.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is home here and I really like his match-up against Kristaps Porzingis. These two were on the same level about two years ago, but Giannis has grown to a whole other level with Porzingis has dealt with injury issues. It’s tough, but that’s life in the NBA.

I am looking for the Bucks to get a big win here to set-up an amazing game on Thursday as they go to tie the franchise record winning streak at 20 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bet Bucks -9

Miami Heat at Memphis Grizzlies: The Heat have been one of the better against the spread teams all season, but despite that this line against the Grizzlies is a bit low. Memphis has been one of the worst teams in the league this season and they are near the bottom of the league in offense and defense. While the Heat are near the top in both of those categories.

Miami should absolutely win this one and I’ll be really surprised if they don’t cover this spread.

Bet Heat -4.5
