College football bowl season is heating up with three big games today. The day starts with Duke and Temple, followed by Wisconsin against Miami, and finally, Vanderbilt vs. Baylor. This is definitely not the marquee games as there as some big name teams here, but the best record of the bunch is the 8-4 Temple Owls with everyone else being worse than that on the year.

That said, not all 7-5 teams are created equal and there may be some good values in these games. Let’s take a loot at that and all the other sports betting tips we have for today.

College Football Betting Tips:

Duke Blue Devils vs. Temple Owls: Duke really limped to the finish this season, losing four of their final six games. Their last loss may have been their worst as they lost 59-7 to Wake Forest at home. That’s bad. A lot of people might talk themselves into taking them today as Temple just lost their head coach to Georgia Tech, but I’m not too worried. Temple has gotten things done all season and I expect them to easily here.

Bet Temple -3.5

Miami Hurricanes vs. Wisconsin Badgers: This one just feels like a gift to me. The Miami defense was amazing this year, giving up 268.3 yards per game which was good for 2nd in FBS. They play a Wisconsin team that has really struggled offensively this season, especially in the passing game with 164.8 passing yards per game that ranked way down at 116th in FBS. They can still run the ball well, but Miami will have something to say about that here.

Bet Miami -2.5

NBA Betting Tips:

Houston Rockets vs. Boston Celtics: My favorite play of the day might be the Boston Celtics +2 against the Houston Rockets. Chris Paul is out for this one while James Harden is listed as questionable. Even if Harden plays, he’s clearly hobbled as this team usually needs him for 40 minutes a night to compete. Boston has been playing well of late and you have to like Kyrie Irving in this match-up.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Utah Jazz: The Jazz are about to go on a run. This team has had the most lopsided home/road schedule in the league thus far as well as one of the toughest schedule. That will start to even out now and they looked great against the Blazers on Christmas. They get the Sixers here and I like this match-up for them. They play smart defense and I think they can really neutralize Joel Embiid with Rudy Gobert and try to force Ben Simmons into shooting. The Jazz -5 look good here.

NHL Betting Tips:

One game I can’t shake from this NHL slate is the Blackhawks hosting the Wild. The Blackhawks have been bleeding goals all season long and they should help awaken the Wild offense here. The Hawks do a good job of scoring to stay in it and I think this is an easy over. 4-2 is the low end, 5-3 is the high. Let’s go.
