Brooklyn Nets at Dallas Mavericks Betting Tips:
The Nets are a -4 favorite here, but I’m left here wondering why it’s not more. The Mavericks have lost seven of their last nine games, including the last two against the Pelicans and Grizzlies at home, and are dealing with a rash of injuries. Willie Cauley-Stein is out, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Luke Doncic are questionable, and Kristaps Porzingis is listed as probable. This team simply isn’t that deep to withstand that type of loss.
Brooklyn is very good. They have Kevin Durant and James Harden as well as a variety of role players that compliment them well. They have not only the better former NBA player as coach, but the better NBA coach, period. The Nets are coming off a long rest here as well. This one isn’t rocket science, Nets should roll.

New York Knicks at San Antonio Spurs Betting Tips:
The Spurs have been playing very well of late, having won four straight games. However, they are in schedule hell here as tonight will be their third game in four nights and the second half of a back-to-back featuring travel. They had a tough one against the Spurs last night and now face a Knicks team that needs a win right now.
New York has a rest advantage here and they are in the midst of their first losing streak of three games on the season. They’ve had a rough schedule of late so tonight should be a relief to them from a match-up perspective. I think that losing streak ends tonight. We know they aren’t afraid to go hard on starters minutes in order to get there.

Boston Celtics at Los Angeles Lakers Betting Tips:
The Lakers are an annoying team to bet on because LeBron James and Anthony Davis are listed on the injury list for every game, but they are both listed as probable. If they are in, things should be fine. If they are out, forget about it.
Boston has been such an up and down team this year. They’ve had wins where they struggled to score 100 and wins where they’ve scored 130+. I don’t quite get them on either end of the floor and based on their record, they don’t either.
These teams faced off earlier this year and it was a big blowout by the Celtics. The Lakers were at full strength in that one, but Boston simply dominated them in the paint and on the boards.
The Lakers are known for their defense and I think it shows up today. They should have that first loss on their mind and as long as their healthy, they should be able to keep the Celtics under 110 and the overall total under 220. The Lakers are 8-16 in over/unders on the season.
