Alrighty – it was fun covering the Portugese Primeira Liga earlier in the week and I will likely cover that again but we’ll get back to the EPL for Saturdays action.

There was a lot of cup games after Tuesday so I just skipped those.

Our outing on Monday in Portugal saw us go 2-1 for +2.5u profit. Was nice seeing the 3.10 come in that is for damn sure.

Tuesday alas was an 0-3 day. Pacos was the big one – we had 2u on them and then had them in a double. I probably should have not risked that much. As it is the pitch was a disaster in that Pacos game and it wasn’t a good game of football to watch.

Ah well I had fun with it.

Let’s look at the EPL:

EPL Betting Tips: February 13, 2021

Leicester vs Liverpool:

Leicester go into this one as big underdogs despite Liverpools recent struggles. Liverpool have lost to Man City and Brighton but even before that they had a brutal run of games losing to Burnley and Southampton and drawing with the lieks of Man Utd and Newcastle.

Not a good time to be a Liverpool fan. Both teams are in the Top 4.

I’d like to say Draw or Leicester for this one but 1.66 odds just doesn’t cut it.

I think Liverpool will get the win anyway. But not enough to back them honestly.

Crystal Palace vs Burnley:

Burnley aren’t looking too bad in 17th place. A nice gap over Fulham. Both teams are fairly average this season but bar an utter disaster both should be safe.

Palace aren’t too bad a home team with a 4-3-4 record. They had a couple of good results prior to the Leeds loss.

Palace of course have a huge injury list right now. I’d like to back them here but Zaha being out is a bog concern. He is a key player there. I guess it depends if he is playing or not but it doesn’t look likely.

I’d like to back the draw here but the Zaha question is too much. No bet.

Man City vs Spurs:

Man City are heavy favourites here. No surprise they are a machine at the moiment. Spurs were struggling hard before that win over West Brom.

City had a couple of tough injury blows although they obviously have the depth.

I was going to stay away from this one but after looking into it more, I think CIty are worth a punt. I see something like a 2-0 win and I’m good with 1u on Man City -1.5 at 1.90 odds.

Brighton vs Aston Villa:

Brighton come into this with just one win at home. Villa are 9th in the league and have a great away record.

Brighton of course are draw specialists. Villa had a great run of wins away at the start of the year although that has calmed down somewhat.

They will be boosted by that win over Arsenal though. Brighton meanwhile have had a few good results lately too.

Intriguing game. Brighton losing to Leicester in mid week has to be tough.

I rate Villa enough to have a wee flutter on them although I feel like this is the type of game that could end 2-2. 1u on Villa at 2.50. Price seems good.
