It’s almost sad just how excited I am to be doing regular soccer tips again ha. Like just writing up that Man City one after about a week off I had so much fun diving all into it again etc.
Lot of football taking place in midweek. Key game in Scotland as Aberdeen host Rangers. Man I hope we can pull it out there. Then the big cup final this weekend. I’ve got a friend visiting from Scotland who is a Celtic fan so that should be an interesting day. He may be kicked out and forced to go back home early.
We’ll tackle the English Premier League action. Game of the day will be Liverpool vs Everton no doubt but Man Utd vs Tottenham should also be a fun one. Quite a grand day of football actually. Love midweek domestic football. Although quite a few heavy favourites today.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa Betting Tips:
Chelsea come into this one looking to turn their fortunes around. After a great winning streak was snapped away to Man City, they then proceeded to be shut out at home to West Ham in a soccer.
Have to expect a much better performance from them here. Chelsea are fourth in goalscoring at the moment and 2nd in xG. Villa meanwhile concede more than a goal a game and their away record is terrible with over 2 goals on average per game conceded.
So we have to assume that on paper Chelsea score. The question is can Villa compete? Well they average 1.57 goals away and have a top 6 offense. Chelsea themselves are leaky and can’t keep a clean sheet.
Villa have did a great job in competing with the top teams. They can usually register a goal with Man City being one of the exceptions. They turned things around after those losses to Pool and Wolves and City, and will want to keep things going.
Chelsea are very offensively orientated and this should be a nice open game and quite competititve.

Southampton vs Norwich Betting Tips:
Southampton are one of those teams I have been watching. When you look at the xPTs system they are a team that are just raring to go on a good run. They’ve managed to put that Leicester thrashing behind them finally, with a hard fought 2-2 draw away to Arsenal followed by a win over Watford.
Now they host Norwich who also have their own little run going beating Everton 2-0 away then drawing at home to Arsenal.
It’s funny as both Norwich and Southampton were unlucky not to beat the Gunners.
Southamptons 1-1-5 record at home is brutal but in this relegation battle, I think this is a great spot for Soton to get going here.
I think the bookies feel the same thing giving them such low odds. Southampton are playing at a faster tempo and are creating the chances and I like them to do the business here.
