This week I’ll be covering the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix.

We’ve had a very good run with the Formula 1 Betting Tips lately and I’m going to be hoping that continues this week.

Lewis Hamilton will be hoping to end his two year drought with a victory this year. If Hamilton wins the Hungarian Grand Prix it will be his 5th win of it and will put him above Michael Shumacher for the most Hungarian Grand Prix wins. Both have won four.

Last years winner was Sebastian Vettel. Hamilton came 6th in that one after an ultimately poor race by Hamilton and his team mate Rosberg who got off to very slow starts. It was actually a very exciting race and we’ll be hoping for a similar type this week.

The year prior saw Hamilton come 3rd. Hamilton had a lot of issues at the start of that race and just couldn’t catch up.

In regards to the winner of the race it’s very interesting. Hamilton has had his issues here but he’s also proven he can dominate the track previously and his 5/6 price is worth a very small punt. Nothing huge but he has the ability here as he has proven and if he can remain clear of any issues it’s his race to lose.

I’m also doing a long shot bet of Daniel Ricciardo to win. That one opened at 4/1 and has already moved to 5/1 which is interesting for the 3rd favourite. Rosberg has never shown himself on this track and the previous winner Ricciardo must be feeling confident. The team owe him one, and the Bulls are quite a lot closer to the Ferrari than previous years so he’s probably a good price.

We’re also taking the Podium Finish for Vettel.. It’s a real bogey track for Mercedes and with the engine advantage they usually have nullified, it means the podium places are up for grabs. Vettel won here last year and we think he’ll be battling at the top.

Our final free bet for the Hungarian Grand Prix is McLaren Both Cars in Points. I’ve liked what I have seen from McLaren in recent times – they’re slowly getting to where they want to be. The engine deficiencies will be hidden, and they still have the best driver pairing on the grid.
