It was a solid week with the golf betting tips last week and going into the final rounds we had 4 potential contenders.

In the Memorial tournament we had Matt Kuchar who ended up tied for 4th for the cash. That was quite the tournament. Had hoped for a better final day from Matt as after shooting a 67 on Saturday he went out there and shot a +1. Probably wouldn’t have caught Dufner though.

We had Nicolas Colsaerts in the European Tour and he went on a late rally after 3 average rounds to end up at -6. Sadly he would have to have finished at -9 so that didn’t come in.

We had Anna Nordqvist in the LPGA and she came 2nd. She just couldn’t capture the round 1 form again which was a shame.

Finally we had Miguel Angel Carballo in the Web.com tournament. He started off strong however couldn’t keep his form going.

Here are the betting slips:

Onto this weeks tips.

Phil Mickelson: I’ll be honest I’m not a fan of the odds of Mickelson however he was on my radar before the odds were released and I can’t stop thinking about him here. His form lately is bleh – nothing too great but nothing bad. He’s had some sick performances at this course and the whole thing with him skipping the US Open – I dunno it just makes me think he’ll bring it here. I’m betting a 1/2 unit on Mickelson to win and E/W.

Brian Gay: A previous winner here, Gay has had some solid performances at this course. He’s not in great form at the moment however his two 6th place positions back in April shows he still has it. With a break last week I’m hoping he comes in to this one on form. I’m backing him for a quarter unit to win and E/W.

Lyoness Open 2017 Betting Tips:

Gregory Bourdy: Update: Bourdy has withdrawn from the tournament. If you placed a bet the sportsbooks will refund you. Hoping for Bourdy to break through this week here after a couple of 6 place finishes in the past. He’s had two solid tournaments and I’m backing him to come in swinging here. Half unit on Bourdy to win and E/W.

Gary Stal: The man isn’t in form at all but 4 decent performances here where he gets better each year plus the price has me backing him for a quarter unit to win and E/W.

Principal Charity Classic 2017 Betting Tips:

The American Billy Andrade is my only pick this week and it’s for a quarter unit. He’s performed well here in the past and his only real issue seems to be erratic rounds. Look at the 66-76-66 back in 2016 for example. if he can keep it going consistently he should be good. He had that great result last week and I hope he continues his form here. It’s to win and E/W.
