Welcome to this weeks golf tips.

Last week at the John Deere Classic, our 35/1 Christiaan Bezuidenhout was able to get the E/W cash for a small profit.

While it wasn’t an official tip, I hope some of you backed the 100/1 Christian Gotterup! I mentioned him as one of three potential big dogs, and he managed to get the big E/W cash coming 4th with a huge -5 final round.

I don’t count casual mentions like that in the stats BTW. I just will mention any big dogs if the show up on my system because I know there’s a lot of people reading who like to bet those.

Let’s look at this weeks golf where we have a few years worth of data. It’s pretty erratic data of course considering weather differences over the years. SG Tee to Green & SG Around the Green are big metrics based on previous data.

Betting Note: Betting amounts are based on confidence level. My most common bet is $125 and if you classify that as 1 unit, then I have made a 628.30 unit profit from 2014-2021. Betting size varies greatly based on confidence. (full stats)

E/W (Each-Way) bets mean you split that amount. So if it is a $250 E/W bet, that means $125 on them to win, $125 on them to place (Usually in the Top 5)

Scottish Open Betting Tips:

4.50 odds on this one to go to a playoff. I don’t know the math behind figuring out whether that is worth a bet or not but the last few years it’s gone to one, so man you might want to bet that.

Fun stat: 14 of the top 15 golfers in OWGR are playing this week. Last time a non-major had 14 of the top 15 was the Wachovia Championship in 2007. Credit @JustinRayGolf on Twitter.

$62.50 on Ryan Fox E/W at 40/1

Course form isn’t that great. Two missed cuts and then 44 last year. But my god is he in fine form. He is killing it and it’s not like that bogey last week cost him so it’s not like he is on a huge downer or anything. I think he can handle this course very well and he suits it well.

$62.50 on Aaron Rai Top 20 Finish at 3/1

I don’t believe he will win or content, but Rai, a former winner here, is playing some very solid golf and had a great 9th place finish last week. Yeah this tournament is stacked of course, but I feel confident he can make the cut, and then from that build on it and get in the Top 20.

On the topic of Top X finishes, I’ve went back and forth on Lucas Herbert and just can’t quite pull the trigger. 11/4 just isn’t enough considering the strength of the field.

$31.25 on Chris Kirk @ 110/1

Never played here but the system likes him. We haven’t seen him in a few weeks when he got 7th place at the RBC Canadian Open. Breaks have never been an issue for him and happy to place a 1/4u on this long shot.

Barbasol Championship Betting Tips:
