It’s Wednesday, March 6th 2019 and welcome to this weeks golf tips.

We’ll also fit NBA and NHL in as well.

This week on the PGA Tour we have the Arnold Palmer Invitational. A prestigious tournament for obvious reasons, and who can forget last years unreal performance by Rory McIlroy? That final round? Man. It’s something I still go back and watch a whole year later. So damn good.

Unfortunately Tiger Woods, who has an insane history at this tournament with eight wins, pulled out this week due to injury which is a shame.

Before we get onto this weeks tournament, a look back at last week. It was quite the ride we had with Lucas Glover. We went from winning to not even a top 5 cash to potentially winning again in a playoff. As it is, Glover finished a stroke out of the playoff group but still got us the top 5 cash.

Here’s the betting slip for that one:

Let’s get on with the golf bets:

Golf Bets: March 6th, 2019

I’ve got to say that the Arnold Palmer Invitiational is quite a tricky tournament especially with Tiger out. I can’t quite bring myself to advise Rory this week due to the odds, although I will most likely end up betting on him. Like I said above – his performance here last year was one of my favourite things in golf last year – and I just feel I gotta put a bet on him even if it is -EV.

I really struggled this week but I picked four golfers. All of these are to win and top 5.

The first person I am backing is Louis Oosthuizen. Yeah he didn’t make the cut last year but he has performed well here previously and metric wise, I think he suits up well for this course. Coming in on decent enough form.

Matt Wallace has never played this course however I think he’s got what it takes and is worth a small bet at 100/1.

Last weeks cash Lucas Glover finished strong and I like that to continue this week. He placed in the top ten previously and with his form last week and how he held up well I think he may surprise.

Finally my last bet is on Jason Kokrak. Been awhile since Kokrak missed the cut and I think he can contend here.

In the 2019 Qatar Masters I’ve got two small bets to win and top 5 on Victor Dubuisson and Gaganjeet Bhullar.

Hockey Bets: March 6th, 2019

Flyers vs Capitals: Should be a good game between these two teams. Flyers are fighting hard to get a playoff spot and so they need to give 100% every game. Capitals are a team that love to rise to the challenge and I am going with Over 6.5 Goals including overtime/shootout on this one. Have to expect a solid game.

Leafs vs Canucks: Another one where I’m going with the Over 6.5 goals including overtime/shootout. Just get the feeling the Canucks will be up for this one while the Leafs are back to being a hot team.

Basketball Bets: March 6th, 2019

Just the one NBA Bet which is Pistons -5. They are clicking hard at the moment and Timberwolves got to be tired. Pistons should roll all over them here.
