5 days in a row!

On January 7th I tackled Ligue 1 in France. It was an excellent 2-0 day.

I hate backing the draw but Amiens vs Angers was one of those games that screamed at me that it was going to be a draw. I went with that and luckily it was with a 0-0 result. Nice one at 3.00 odds.

I then had Nantes to defeat Montpellier. They did so and it was a nice and easy one. Montpellier had Laborde sent off after 20 minutes and Nantes got a solid 2-0 victory.

Great day.

Let’s turn our attention to Thursday, January 10th and boy is it slim pickings.

Portimonese vs Sporting Braga Betting Tips:

This is in the Primeira Liga in Portugal.

This should be a good game. Portimonense are still within the European qualification range due to their excellent home form. They seriously struggle away but they can do the business at home.

Sporting Braga are keeping pressure on FC Porto at the top and are 6 points behind. This will be an interesting game for sure.

Sporting Braga have one of the best defensives in the league but despite that they still average a goal a game conceded and away it is 1.57 which says it all. They struggle on the road. Just look at that 6-2 thrashing they got from Benfica.

Portimonense will be motivated to get back on track after that loss to Maritimo. They’ll be excited to play at home where they have a solid 5-2-1 record. They score most of their goals here too where they average 2.25 goals at home compared to an overall of 1.44.

Gotta think this game will have plenty of goals.

Al Qadisiya vs Al Ittihad Betting Tips:

This one is in the Saudi Arabian Premier League. Based on the odds I must be missing something but I’ve looked it all up and can’t really see anything so here we go – we will just do a small bet.

Al Qadisiya are coming off a disappointing loss to Al Batin. They’ve been in solid form prior to that however and I think they can bounce right back against basement dwellers Al Ittihad.

Al Ittihad are joint bottom and have the worst defense in the league. Al Qadisiya are a fairly average team and deserve to be around mid table. However they have been playing above expectations lately and after that Al Batin loss I think they can get back on track.

They haven’t lost in home in 4 games and have 4 solid performances there including a draw with Al Faisaly.

Like I said I must be missing something but I think it’s worth a small bet.
