Sunday. January 13th sees some real interesting games across the leagues.
In England the big one is of course Tottenham Hotspur vs Man Utd. However Everton vs Bournemouth is also an intriguing one.
In Spain, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are in action as are Sevilla. Real Madrid head away to play Real Betis in what should be a good game.
There is of couurse action in various other leagues as well such as Ligue 1 in France and Primeira Liga in Portugal.

Real Madrid have been really struggling this season obviously. It looks like they were returning to form before a draw against Villarreal and a loss against Real Sociedad.
I’ve got to think the players see this as an absolutely massive game. Hopefully they’ve realized that top 4 is their goal rather than winning the league. That means they won’t get downhearted when they lose and they really up the ante in games such as this.
They’re just outside the top 4 at the moment and with Betis 4 points behind them this is a solid 6 pointer of a game.
Although they’ve had a poor season, Madrid are still technically one of the most on form teams in the league lately.
Against a tough opposition I think we see a good performance from Real Madrid here and that there is nice value on them.

And you know what? That’s going to be my only pick for today. I’ve probably looked at like 50 other games and studied everything and I just feel like nothing is jumping out and I am almost forcing myself to make a play.
I just spent like 20 minutes trying to justify a play on the draw between Nantes and Rennes for example. It’s not that I liked the play really I just felt obligated to have multiple plays.
That’s always a big mistake and something I never advise doing. If you’re not feeling it you’re not feeling it.
