It’s Sunday, and we’ve got two big NFL Divisional playoff games to look forward to!

We’ll know who is in the Conference Championships at the end of today. The Seahawks take on the Panthers in the early game, and the Steelers take on the Broncos in the later game.

It’s going to be a fun day especially with UFC later on tonight. Let’s get to todays betting tips:

Seahawks vs Panthers Betting Tips:

The Seahawks are one of those teams who it is a surprise they are even here. Some very poor regular season form and boy did they get lucky last week.

But sometimes that’s what the elite teams need – is that little bit of luck. And believe me – I hate the Seahawks, but I think they have always found ways to overcome the odds and that their experience with the Super Bowl the last couple of years will win out here.

This is actually quite a fascinating game. The Seahawks go into it as +1 underdogs and they played in October. In that game, the Panthers beat the Seahawks 27-23 although it was an extremely tight one. That was one of those games where oddly enough the Seahawks should have won – but luck went the way of the Panthers.

Both Newton and Wilson have been tearing it up the last little while and this should be a hell of a game. Last year the Seahawks beat the Panthers super easy – but the Panthers of course are a much different team and having beat the Seahawks in the regular season – that helps.

But I just can’t see past the Seahawks here. They have so many options in their offense, and we think their defense is going to step up big time.

Take Seahawks +1 although we hope we’re wrong in all honesty.

Steelers vs Broncos Betting Tips:

The Broncos are one of those teams where I’m surprised they’re even in the playoffs. They actually had a stellar season but nothing like previous seasons in terms of numbers putting up.

Roethlisberger, if he is playing will not be 100%. It’s going to be very interesting. Steelers beat the Broncos 34-27 a month ago but that was a different game with Osweiler at QB.

Honestly we think Peyton will be nice and rested and we like the Broncos to win here. Especially with Ben not 100% and the Broncos defense being so damn good this season.

UFC Fight Night 81 Betting Tips:

In any heavyweight fight you have to look at the underdog, and we’ll be betting Matt Mitrione +133. Mitrione has generally looked a lot more solid lately with his wins over Gonzaga, Lewis and Jordan. he lost to Ben Rothwell via submission but we don’t think Browne has what it takes. Really this is one of those fights where +100 would be the true odds and if we’re going to get value like that we gotta get on it.

We also like Eddie Alvarez to win at a nice price of +290 odds. Alvarez is a very solid fighter and Pettis just lost his title. That’s huge to lose your title and we always look at backing against the guy in their next fight as it can crush people.

So yep – Alvarez to win.
