It was an 0-1 night last night. We had the Hornets -10 however the Kings came back back in the 3rd beating them 32-20 there. That 12 points was enough for the Kings to cover unfortunately as the Hornets only won by 5 points.

Sorry for the lateness in picks today. I wish I could say there was a good reason for it but really after watching WWE RAW 25th anniversary show, both me and Vin stayed up late drinking and watching the Royal Rumble 94.

So yeah. As someone who is usually in bed by 9pm, staying up till 1:30am drinking and watching the Rumble messed up my day and I actually had a 90 minute freaking nap today.

Quiet night tonight with only 5 games on the board. The Warriors look to bounce back off their 10th loss of the season as they take on the Knicks, and the Celtics look to end their 3 game losing streak in LA as they take on the Lakers.

Magic vs Kings Betting Tips:

We’re going with Magic -6.5.

The Magic have a good little thing going at the moment. They played 4 top teams and didn’t perform too badly at all. Tight games against the Wiz & Cavs and victories over the Celtics and Timberwolves.

They’re going to be pumped for this game and winning twice in a row as they go on against the Kings. The Kings are seriously struggling at the moment and their last road win was against the Nets in December 20th.

Magic seem to have worked things out since Vucevic went out and figured out how to play without him and I like that. They’re showing a lot of fight. The Kings are just a mess on defense at the moment and can’t seem to stop anything. If they are down they don’t seem to know how to come back etc.

Let’s hope the Magic take these guys seriously.

Spurs vs Cavaliers Betting Tips:

We’re going with Spurs +2.5. A lot of the money has went on the Cavs in this one interestingly, changing the line a fair bit.

We know the Cavs can show up for the big games but they are a mess at the moment and getting points at home against them with the Spurs? Think you just gotta go with that.

Granted the Spurs themselves are struggling but they know there is no better time to beat the Cavs than right now and hopefully their offense can get clicking again.

I must admit I do have my fears tha the Cavs offense can run loose and the Spurs won’t be able to keep up with them. But this Spurs D should be good enough to really frustrate the Cavs and you have to expect them to all be up for it as well. I’ll take the points.

Knicks vs Warriors:

Not a tip as I generally don’t do over/unders, but my betting system seriously likes the over 225pts in this game. I usually stay away from them but it likes it enough that I thought I’d mention it for anyone flirting with that bet.
