Another winning night with the NBA Tips last night.

It was a nice and easy one too which I love. We had the Washingon Wizards +1 and didn’t even need the point. We didn’t need 10 points even as the Wizards dominated them winning 107-89.

Bradley Beal put in another excellent performance as did Jeff Green off the bench. Wizards are one of those teams that if they can just get consistent, can make the playoffs. They’ve got a lot of potential and it’s just sad that John Wall is out. He could be the difference between the team that can make the playoffs and maybe progress a round, to a team who will no doubt just be earning a participation award if they are there.

It was a bad game for the Indiana Pacers as their losing streak is extended to three.

The loss of Derrick Jones proved to be a big one for the Heat. I thought it would spur them on but that wasn’t the case at all as the Bulls came out fast. Dwayne Wade was out too though so glad we didn’t back them despite the schedule alert.

We move onto Thursday, January 31st and let’s say goodbye to January on a winning note. The big game is the Milwaukee Bucks vs the Toronto Raptors as well as the battle of LA. Warriors host Philly in what should be a hell of a game and the Pacers and Magic look to end losing streaks.

Honestly I haven’t been this pumped for a night of basketball in a long time. Lot of potentially great games out there. For the record Vin likes the Mavs over the Pistons as he feels they have got better on the road, and Pistons have no advantage. He also likes Raps a bit due to them being more of a regular season team. He also thinks Warriors will roll.

Pacers vs Magic Betting Tips:

This is a tricky one. I hate backing the Magic but I think until the Pacers find their way I’ve got to bet against them.

Pacers are in that spot where they are struggling to pick themselves up. They’ve list Victor Oladipo, Tyreke Evans is struggling with injuries and now they are on a back to back.

Magic have a losing record but man if things could just go their way. They lead the league for close games and are 13-17. Just a few more swing the other way and they’d be closer to .500.

Pacers are on a back to back and I think with the low energy they have right now, they won’t be up for that game tonight.

I’m going with Magic to end their streak tonight.
