A 1-2 record last night.

The Sixers -6 over the Pistons was an easy win. They ended up winning 114-78 and this thing was never in remotely close. The crazy thing is that Andre Drummond ended up playing in this one and the Pistons still got clobbered.

We also had the Mavericks -4, but the Bulls went absolutely crazy in the fourth quarter to grab the win outright. When I say they went crazy, I really mean it as they scored 47 points in the final frame. That has to be one of the highest single quarter scoring efforts we’ve seen all season.

The last tip of the night was the Wizards -4.5 and this one really broke my heart. The Wizards led by as many as 17 in the second and led by 15 with 9:24 left in the game. This one seemed locked up, but then the Grizzlies went on a furious pace to finish the game and ended up losing by only two. Everyone makes a run in the NBA, but this is a lead the Wizards should’ve held.

Chicago Bulls vs. Indiana Pacers Betting Tips:

We’ve got a big time schedule alert here for the Chicago Bulls. As I constantly harp on about, the NBA has “scheduled losses” built into the schedule and this one is setting off major red flags tonight. This is the Bulls fifth game in seven days, third in four nights and a back-to-back with travel that caused them to lose an hour. They play this game less than 24 hours after last night’s crazy game against the Mavericks. This could be bad for them.

Throw in the fact that there is a good chance that Victor Oladipo returns tonight and we are all over the Pacers -5.

Houston Rockets vs. Detroit Pistons Betting Tips:

After only scoring 78 points against the 76ers last night, I’m scared to see what is going to happen when the Pistons play one of the elite teams in the NBA tonight.

Thursday’s game against the Warriors really showed what this Rockets team can still do without James Harden. Chris Paul is still one of the best players in the NBA, Eric Gordon is stepping up in a big way and Clint Capela can hang. While the result wasn’t favorable that night, I do expect it to be tonight. The Pistons are on a back-to-back while the Rockets haven’t played since Thursday.

Houston -5.5 is still a really dangerous team without James Harden and the Pistons are in a bad place right now. Feed off that and profit from it with this pick.

Sacramento Kings vs. Denver Nuggets Betting Tips:

This is another schedule alert game with the Nuggets being on their third in four nights and the second half of a back-to-back after playing in Utah last night. Making matters worse is the Jazz are on their 11th day of a nearly two week homestand and have a three day rest advantage.

Despite all that, I still think the Nuggets could win this game. Just not by that much. The Kings +6 is the play here.
