It was another 1-1 day on the 7th of January.

We had Tondela and Sporting CP Both Teams to Score and that came through as 10 man Tondela pulled off a massive win against Sporting CP. I had said that it was possible Sporting slipped up but that was quite the shocker to wach.

We lost with Celta Vigo vs Athletic Bilboa. A solid performance from Bolba there whose defense did a good job at making Celta take bad shots. They had 17 shots but only 3 on target.

A lot of cup games in the usual countries today so I’m actually going to do purely stats based picks from the Jamaica Premier League. A reminder that I look up the stats and so on but I also check to make sure there are no injuries or other facts so it’s not PURELY stats based but it is primarily stats based.

Reno FC vs Dunbeholden Betting Tips:

Reno FC are currently 9th in the 12 team league with Dunbeholden bottom of the league.

Reno FC are draw specialists with a 4-8-8 record. They’ve been having issues scoring lately and are down to 1 goal a game at home on average.

Their defense is a bit more sturdy however.

Neither team can really get going goals wise. Reno it doesn’t seem to matter who they play the games are all fairly even. They played Montego Bay lately who are about the same skill level as Dunbeholden and drew 1-1 at home.

I’ve got to see this as another tight game. Both teams struggle to score and take control of a game. Reno are hard to beat and Dunbeholden have seen 68% of their matches go under 2.5 goals.

Dunbeholden play a bit tighter on the road too it seems and have a better record away than at home.

UWI Pelicans vs Harbour View FC Betting Tips:

Harbour View are third bottom while the Pelicans are 6th in the league.

Harbour View have serious defensive woes. Worst record in the league, conceding on average 1.58 goals per game. Although it’s actually a better record away for them at 1.55.

Harbour View have a decent run of form going and haven’t lost in their last three games. They even got a big draw against Arnett Gardens and a surprise win over Mount Pleasant.

I just think the Pelicans are still the better team and despite that upset loss to Tivolo Gardens will bounce back strong here.
