What did we learn from the sporting world over the weekend? Well, the sports of golf and tennis seem to have three unstoppable forces at the moment. Novak Djokovic is still the man to beat at Wimbledon, it seems, as he beat Roger Federer in four sets to deny the Swiss an unprecedented eighth Wimbledon Championship. Serena Williams completed the Serena Slam, and now just needs to win at Flushing Meadows to complete the Grand Slam. Bookies are going just a shade over Evens that she manages it. And in the world of golf, Jordan Speith goes into the Open looking for his third Major in a row, after winning the John Deere Classic in a play-off against Tom Gillis. Speith is looking in scary form at the moment, and he also managed to hold off our pick, Zach Johnson, who finished in third place.

In other sporting news, Sky Racing’s Chris Froome holds the yellow jersey in the Tour de France, after Team Sky finished second in Sunday’s team time trial. Bastian Schweinsteiger signed for Manchester United. England won the first Ashes Test over Australia. Raheem Sterling is poised to make a move to Manchester City for £49 million. Rickie Fowler won the Scottish Open by one stroke over Matt Kuchar at Gullane, and In Gee Chun won the women’s US Open golf by one shot over Amy Yang.

So there’s still a lot of sport going on, just not a lot that is actually worth betting on. However, we’ve got the Open coming up this week, which we will have some great value tips for you. However, there’s no MLB today, leaving us with two CONCACAF Gold Cup matches to take a look at. So, without further stalling, let’s go ahead with the free sports betting tips for July 13th, 2015.

CONCACAF Gold Cup Betting Tips:

Honduras take on Haiti on the night’s first game. Haiti have surprised some with their results, losing 1-0 to the USA and drawing 1-1 with Panama. Honduras also drew 1-1 with Panama, and lost 2-1 to the USA. Haiti have been impressive in their two matches, and will be confident against Honduras. However, they’re not beaten Honduras since 2007, which is a troubling stat. But Honduras are yet to win in five games, so they’re not exactly in sparkling form. The Hondurans are a shade of odds-on here to win, which is terrible value given the circumstances. Plus, Haiti actually dominated the United States, battering the American goal. Haiti to win is incredible value here, with the islanders actually ahead of Honduras in the rankings. Just over 4/1 is screaming value in a match that both sides need to win to progress. Get on it.

In the night’s other game, the United States, who have already qualified, take on Panama, who need a win to guarantee qualification. Panama have drawn both their games 1-1, and depending on the night’s other result, they might only need a draw in this game. So we have to tread carefully with this, and we’re definitely not betting on the outright result, as there’s too many variables to consider. The United States don’t need any kind of result, as they’re won the group, so the foot might be off the pedal. Looking at Group A, only 1 out of the 4 games has gone over 2.5 goals, and we’re going to take Under 2.5 goals here as the sensible bet. The United States will take it easy, and if Panama only need a draw to qualify, it could end up playing out to be a 0-0 bore-fest. The fact that you can still get just under odds-on for this is amazing, given that it could plummet just before kick-off. Super value here.
