A 3-1 record last night.

We split our two unders, won the Mets and won our over.

There were a few games the system spat out yesterday that I left on the table. I would kill to have those today as there isn’t a lot to love today. The system thinks most of these lines are right on the mark and there aren’t a ton of values outside of these two games.

New York Yankees vs. Cleveland Indians Betting Tips:

The system has been loving the over on this series and it’s pretty easy to see why. While his stats look decent overall, his numbers on the road aren’t pretty. A 4.42 ERA/5.76 FIP on the road this season isn’t great and the Indians have been putting up major runs at home lately. The Indians are one of the top hitting teams against lefties this year with a .767 OPS/108 wRC+.

Mike Clevinger has been great this year with a 3.34 ERA/3.20 FIP, but he’s coming off a start where he allowed five runs to the Reds and now gets to face this offense. The Yankees have an .780/111 wRC+ which is the second best in baseball this season. They can send Clevinger to the showers early and the Indians bullpen is not to be trusted this season. Take the over.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Los Angeles Angels Betting Tips:

Alex Wood grabs the start here and he’s having a solid season with a 3.88 ERA/3.51 FIP. He starts at home where he has down well in his career. The key to this match-up for me though, is just how bad the Angels have been against lefties this season. A .671 OPS/87 wRC+ which is seriously brought down by a .297 on base percentage. They are just not a good offense against lefties and Alex Wood is pretty good.

Andrew Heaney has a 3.84 ERA/3.79 FIP, but he’s struggled on the road. A lot. A 5.56 ERA/4.44 FIP and he faces a Dodgers offense that is middle of the road against lefties with a .713 OPS/96 wRC+. One thing that I do like about them is that they walk 10.5% of plate appearances against lefties. They can work this count and get Heaney out early, I think that will be successful for them.
