Oof – been a tough midweek, as we went 0-2 in the SPL Tips.
After that Rangers result I don’t even want to talk about the SPL ha. That’s the league lost. Oh well.
We had Livingston to win to nil. They were up 2-0 however that opened the game up a tad and St Mirren quickly responded with a goal to win 2-1. Livingston defensively were a lot poorer than previous games.
I took a risky bet on Motherwell to win over St Johnstone. That game was pretty much a draw all the way through then St Johnstone stole it in injury time after Motherwell had a man sent off. I was debating the draw in that one so at least I didn’t have that ha. I would have been ticked.
Let’s have a look at the games taking place in Ligue 1 this weekend where we have a lot of bettable matchs.
Bordeaux vs Dijon Betting Tips:
Bordeaux come into this one on the back of a 4 game unbeaten streak and confidence is high. Wins over Metz and Nantes have turned their form around and some draws in there against Brest and of course the mighty Marseille.
Dijon are struggling and are 4th bottom of Ligue 1 right now.
Dijon are a brutal team away with 9 losses in 12 games.
To be honest advanced metrics wise, there is not much separating these teams. Bordeaux are one of those weird teams who perform so much better away than at home.
However I do like the confidence they are showing. Most importantly their xG has risen. Against Marseille for example they were 1.14-0.42 in xG there.
They’re still in contention for a European place and I like them to get the win here.

Toulouse vs Nice Betting Tips:
This is an interesting game.
Nice had a great run snapped at home to Nimes however they made a nice climb up the table and are in 11th place.
Toulouse are a bad, bad team. Sorry any Toulouse fans reading but you are.
They haven’t won in 14 games. That’s absolutely brutal. When you look at the advanced metrics they belong where they are.
Now that’s not to write them off entirely. They COULD win. However if they don’t – do we go with the draw? Or Nice to win?
Nice aren’t a great team away. Just 2 wins and 3 draws in 11 games. It’s tricky as Niche fully deserve their run for the most part. A couple of flattering results but they are a solid team.
However their away form is so poor and Toulouse have to be trying to put in a big effort. I’ll go small on the draw.
