A 1-2 record last night.

It was a night of disappointment last night as the Raptors’ franchise record winning streak came to an end. It ended not with a bang, but a whimper as they lost 101-91. They just didn’t have it from the start in this one as they only scored 40 points in the first half. The Raptors were dominated in rebounding and had a poor shooting night as they shot 34-for-90 from the field for just 37.8%. They didn’t get to the line at all and this looks like a team that just tired out.

It was a similarly disappointing first half for the Bucks as they managed to score only 45 points in the first half while giving up 68. They made a strong comeback in the second half behind a great game from Donte DiVincenzo, but it was too little and too late. The Bucks chase of the Warriors 73-wins is probably out the window at this point as they’d only be able to lose one game the rest of the way.

The Jazz at home ended up making it a winning night for us as Miami’s road struggles continued. Rudy Gobert was dominate in this one with 16 points and 20 rebounds in the game. The Heat now sit 2.5 games behind the Celtics for the third seat in the Eastern Conference while the Jazz, also the fourth seed, are 1.5 games behind the Nuggets for the second seed.

Los Angeles Clippers at Boston Celtics Betting Tips:

This is the fourth and final game of a road trip for the Clippers which could spell trouble for them here. This team is very good, but they are very up-and-down on a night to night basis. You just never really know how much effort you are going to see as they are a real “light switch flipping” team. I think tonight has the potential to be a dark one as they end this brutal road trip.

The Celtics have won seven of their last eight games and have been a very good team at home on the season. They have a 22-5 record at home this season and I like their odds tonight. The line on this one is -1 so all they have to do is win and I think that’s exactly what they’ll do. The Clippers beat them earlier this season in a very close game in LA. The Celtics have an 11-6 record when avenging a loss.

Oklahoma City Thunder at New Orleans Pelicans Betting Tips:

The Pelicans are making their move in the standings and this game is huge for them. They’ve played the Thunder three times already this season and each game was pretty close, but the Thunder won all three. They’ve won three straight and this is is a game that they need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive. New Orleans has just been a monster on offense with a 6-2 record over their past eight and each win has seen them score 123+.

The Pelicans need this one and that will see them really go all out on offense. I am not 100% convinced that they will win as the Thunder are a great team, but I do believe that they can force the Thunder to play their game and that means a high scoring affair.
