The NBA is back and we have four tips for you today.

You’d think with the league coming off the All-Star Break that we’d see some healthy teams, but as you will see that is not the case. It’s just going to be one of those seasons. I don’t have the exact record in front of me, but this year has been good for us thus far.

Let’s keep it going in the second half starting tonight.

Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets Betting Tips:

It’s Brooklyn and it’s on national TV, yeah I like the over.

Durant or no Durant, this Brooklyn team just puts up huge points and the Celtics defense isn’t going to stop it. I think they will be able to keep up on that end though and this game should go over.

Philadelphia 76ers at Chicago Bulls Betting Tips:

The Sixers will be without both Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons in this one thanks to coming into contact with a barber who tested positive for COVID-19. Philly has only played one game all season without both of these players and they lost that game to Denver by 12. Including that game, the Sixers are 2-3 without Ben Simmons and 1-5 without Joel Embiid. Needless to say, these guys are really important to this team.

Chicago is a decent enough team and they are at home here. I don’t love them, but I think they are probably better than the Sixers without their stars.

Bet Bulls -4

New York Knicks at Milwaukee Bucks Betting Tips:

I think the Bucks are going to win this game, but -11.5 is ridiculous. Have you seen the 2021 New York Knicks? Have you seen the 2021 Milwaukee Bucks?

The Knicks heading into the break winning four of their past five and eight of their past eleven. That run came against some real bad teams and they have definitely benefitted from that, but this is also a team that plays hard every night and has defense that currently ranks second in the NBA in Defensive Rating. They played the Bucks early this season and beat them by 20 at home.

Milwaukee is still good, but they have less depth than a year ago and they are trying some different things on offense which has lead to some growing pains. Being without Jrue Holiday for a long stretch didn’t help. This is still a very good team, but they aren’t blowing out games like this lately. They are just 7-6 ATS when the spread is between -6.5 and -12, and just 18-16 as a favorite on the season.

New York should make this a tough game, take the points.

Bet Knicks +11.5

Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Clippers Betting Tips:

The Clippers seemingly always do a great job defensively of keeping the scores low in their games against the Warriors, but the totals are still set high. Three of the past four games between these two teams, including both this season, have gone under.

The total set for tonight is 230 which is just crazy if you look at the last two games. The Warriors won 115-105 last time out and the Clippers won 108-101 two days before that. That’s ten or more points in each that would have been needed to hit an over like this. I don’t see it happening unless Steph goes nuclear.
