Welcome to the free sports betting tips for Monday March 13th, 2017.

So over the weekend we saw literally no shocks in the FA Cup action. We started off with Manchester City seeing off Middlesbrough with relative ease. Then Arsenal avoided the banana skin that was Lincoln City. While the Imps held out for nearly an entire half of football, the Premiership class showed and Arsenal pulled away. Then we saw Tottenham prove far too strong for Millwall. That just leaves one game left to decide the semi-final line-up of the 2017 FA Cup, and it’s between Chelsea and Manchester United. That means the four semi-finalists will come from the top six sides in England. So, for a year of shocks and surprises in the competition, it’s come down to a rather predictable looking final four. Great. Oh, and the Old Firm played out a boring 1-1 draw at Parkhead on Sunday, but Clint Hill has gone down in the history books as perhaps the most unlikely person to score the equaliser for Rangers, so there is that.

Now, let’s get onto the free sports betting tips for Monday March 13th, 2017.

Chelsea vs Manchester United Betting Tips

There’s only one game tonight worth caring about, and it’s the aforementioned FA Cup quarter-final between Chelsea and Manchester United. Jose Mourinho has come out and criticised the way Chelsea play, which is quite funny, since Mourinho himself loves to park the bus. Conte has brought a real old-school approach to football to Stamford Bridge, and it’s working well. Is Mourinho a bit envious that Conte isn’t being slated for it? Probably not, but it’s nice to think the Portuguese is seething at it.

The problem for Manchester United is that they are without Zlatan due to suspension, and Chelsea’s defence doesn’t give away goals at the best of times, so it could be a long old night for the Reds’ front line. Chelsea won their last meeting at home 4-0 and it was thanks to a very early goal. Can they do they same here? Well, I can’t see Manchester United being a real threat without Zlatan, so the prediction would have to be Chelsea to win, but actually, I can see Chelsea doing some real damage tonight, so I think there’s a hell of a lot of value in backing Chelsea -1 because they could win to nil here and definitely put a few past a Manchester United back line that has struggled for most of the season. If you’re not too confident on the -1 selection, definitely get on Chelsea to win, but I think there’s more value on the handicap bet for this one.
