The Conference Finals roll on tonight in both the NHL and the NBA. On Sunday we saw the San Antonio Spurs nearly pull off an upset of the Warriors, but a historic comeback and an injury to Kawhi Leonard cost them that chance. It’s hard to say for certain, but it definitely feels like the Warriors comeback might not have been what it was with Kawhi Leonard still on the floor. He’ll likely be out for game two of this series and another Warriors sweep suddenly looks in play.

The NHL has been far more competitive thus far with both series tied 1-1. The Predators and Ducks see their series move to Nashville and the crowd should be hot. This is the Predators first time in the Conference Finals and this will be the first home game in that round, you have to expect big things. Nashville needs to match the Ducks’ physical play and I’m expect a big game from Pekka Rinne tonight.

NBA Betting Tips:

The Spurs managed to defeat the Houston Rockets in game six of the last round without Kawhi Leonard and they did it in dominating fashion, but the Warriors are not the Rockets and this could be a much tougher task. The line on this one is set very high and the bookmakers think San Antonio is screwed. I have to give them more credit than that though and I think San Antonio +14 will make this a game. They’ve shown the ability to step up when their star is out and I think the Warriors might take them lightly early. The Spurs take nothing lightly and they should play tough in this one.

NHL Betting Tips:

There are two things that I like about Nashville tonight: They are playing at home and they gave up five goals in game two. I mentioned why I like the home ice in the opening, but the five goals is the thing that is really jumping out at me. In the previous three rounds, the most goals allowed by this team was three. They only allowed three goals to the Chicago Blackhawks in the entire series. The point being, they are better than that defensively and they are going to make sure that they get back on track tonight. This one could get physical and goals will be hard to come by for the Ducks. Nashville -150

MLB Betting Tips:

One game is sticking out on the schedule for me tonight and it’s the Red Sox -107 at the Cardinals. Lance Lynn goes for the Cards and he seems like the type of pitcher that the Red Sox feast on. He’s coming off his worst start of the season against Miami and Boston’s offense is far scarier than Miami’s. Eduardo Rodriguez goes for Boston and while he is not the most dominating starter, I like home he looked his last time out and St. Louis doesn’t hit lefties very well.
