Oh who are we kidding – it’s a massive day today. Kentucky Derby, NHL & NBA Playoffs, Mayweather vs Pacquiao and so much more. What a great evening for sports.
Let’s cover everything we can today:
Mayweather vs Pacquaio Betting Tips:
We already covered this yesterday – but in case you missed it, go with Mayweather to win by decision. It’s -125.
What’s interesting about that fight is we talked to our friends at Bovada about it, and the action. They’re getting a ridiculous amount of betting action. They said the worst thing that would happen for them is if Pacquiao wins by KO. Apparently that would be massive loss for them – although they’re not expecting it to happen.
Also apparently a draw is the other super popular bet. I guess a lot of people are believing this will be a draw, to lead to a rematch. Honestly not the worst bet in the world to make but I think with how hard it’s been just to get them to fight once – you’re going to have lots of trouble getting a second fight out of Mayweather.
Kentucky Derby Betting Tips:
It’s the 141st Kentucky Derby this weekend, taking place at the Churchill Downs Racetrack. The two horses getting the majority of the action are American Pharoah and Dortmund.
Honestly we think it’s just two hard to go for anyone other than Dortmund. We’ve always liked the son of Big Brown, and he has been in top form lately. He’s the 2nd favourite, but we are sure he will live up to his fathers legacy and take the Kentucky Derby.
NHL & NBA Playoff Betting Tips:
So first of all we have Capitals to beat the Rangers. It’s a big price on the Capitals at 2.40 odds and that’s tremendous value. Not that we don’t think Rangers should be the favourite – but Capitals should not be that high a price. That’s just excellent value we’re all over.
Finally for today we’ll go with Spurs +2.5 in the NBA playoffs. A massive, massive game but we think the Spurs have what it takes. Clippers are fatigued and don’t have the depth – this is going to be one game too far for the LA Clippers.
