A 1-1 record last night.

The Bet MLB System liked the Pirates yesterday and a big part of that was Shelby Miller pitching for Texas. Miller looked good at first, but then the fourth inning happened. The Pirates tagged him for four runs and sent him to the showers. Jameson Taillon got into some trouble, but the bullpen of the Rangers struggled and the Pirates pulled this one off 7-5.

Marcus Stroman had his worst start of the season while Felix Pena was solid and the Angels took this one. Pena is an interesting pitcher as he seemingly has the one good pitch in the slider and he just throws it. All the time. Whatever works in this league.

The Brewers ended up scratching Chase Anderson right before game time so that bet was voided.

I am going to the Brewers game today so I’ll be rooting for them to win. I won’t be tipping them though as Jon Gray is one of my favorite pitchers and I think he could do some damage here.

Just one early day game pick today.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Kansas City Royals Betting Tips:

Danny Duffy pitches for the Royals and he had a 4.88 ERA/4.70 FIP last season. He’s just hittable and not a pitcher that can single-handedly shut a team down. Last week saw his first start of the season and he didn’t look great. The Rays offense is very versatile and I thin they can send him packing early here.

While Charlie Morton goes for the Rays and continues to pay off for them. He has a 2.76 ERA/3.36 FIP thus far this season with some huge strikeout numbers. I like him a lot here.

This is a game where I am going to tell you that it is okay to bet Rays -1.5, but I am not going to do it myself. I am okay with the -152 line, but the system likes them as a runline play if you are willing to go there.

Bet Rays -152
