What the hell were the Nuggets doing in that 2nd quarter last night? That was brutal.

We had the over in that one and the game was trending towards that if not for that second quarter. Brutal one and the Blazers tie it up with a 97-90 win and head to Portland with home court advantage now.

Tonight is Thursday, May 2nd and the Raptors vs 76ers series heads to Philly.

These two teams first played on Saturday where the Raps ran out 108-95 winners. Then on Monday where Philly came out fast and the Raps couldn’t recover.

Should be a good one.

76ers vs Raptors Game 3 Betting Tips:

Vin: There is something that happens in the NBA Playoffs as the rotations shrink and teams are playing harder, a lot of the stuff that got you here doesn’t work anymore. We’re seeing this in a few series as the three-pointers aren’t coming as easy for teams. This raising of the difficulty level in the playoffs was on full display in game two of this series.

We are living in an era where both teams scoring over 100 is a part of the game. In the first round, only two games saw both teams score under 100. It happened in game two of this series and I think we can see it happen here again. These teams are well matched and points are getting harder and harder to come by.

For the Raptors, this is a tough road game. Philly is always a tough place to play and the team isn’t exactly firing on all cylinders right now. Kawhi Leonard has really carried this team and he almost pulled them back from oblivion in game two. The rest of the team outside of Pascal Siakam has struggled and road games typically see road players shooting even worse. I like this team, but I’m not feeling great about this one.

As for the Sixers, the Joel Embiid of it all is continuing to be worrisome. He did not look himself in game two and is slow on the court. The team got a big performance from Jimmy Butler last time out and his defense may have saved the game late. They’ll need that again here.

This spread is just too close to call for me, but I do like the under quite a bit.

I’ve been burned on totals a couple of times in the playoffs of late, but I just can’t see this being a high scoring game. The Sixers want to play a version of slow, bully ball and doing a great job taking away the 3-ball. While the Raptors are struggling to get scoring out of the players beyond Siakam and Leonard.

Graeme: This will be a tricky game for the Raptors for sure. 76ers though are a bit beaten up. Joel Embiid obviously has his situation. Mike Scott is struggling. Dude has plantar fascitis which is never fun.

76ers may need to rely on their bench. But I just feel the Raptors offense was stifled a good bit in Game 2 but won’t happen in this one. As while the 76ers stepped it up defense wise the Raps still came close and could have tied it up with that Danny Green trey.

I like the Raptors to take this one. They just have to perform better and I think they do that. https://www.Bovada.lvRaps -1.5
