MLS Betting Tips August 10th, 2019

Decided to take a little break from this weekends EPL Betting Tips to look ahead at this weekends MLS Games.

Might cover the EPL again tomorrow but might wait until Friday just for any late transfer moves to go through. Looking forward to deadline day.

So far I have tipped Bournemouth vs Sheff Utd, Burnley vs Southampton and also Crystal Palace vs Everton.

I’m also hoping to get some SPL Betting Tips up too.

Man – there is just too much bloody football at the moment! Ha. Not a complaint though – I love it.

So let’s get on with the MLS Betting Tips for August 10th, 2019. I’ll hopefully cover the August 11th games too but just in case I don’t – throw something on LA Galaxy. Easily worth a bet with DC United losing Rooney. That could be a big mental loss for them. I haven’t analyzed the game yet at all though but hope to do that soon.

Toronto FC vs Orlando City Betting Tips:

I think there is some small value in betting against Toronto FC here.

Toronto have been a fairly inconsistent team and are finding it hard to string the wins together. Their home form has been decent lately but they still lost to Houston, who up until that game had the worst away record in the league.

Toronto are 8th in the East while Orlando are just 3 points behind them in 9th. Orlandos issue this season has been scoring goals but they’re starting to get the goals going now. In the league they just had that excellent 2-0 win over FC Dallas with goals from Tesho Akindele and Carlos Ascues. Tesho Akindele is doing excellent at the moment.

While Toronto are rightly favourites for this one, I feel the odds are a bit too heavy and think they may slip up.

FC Dallas vs Minnesota Utd Betting Tips:

Another one where I just feel one team is too heavily favoured, and that team is FC Dallas.

Minnesota Utd have a healthy team going into this one. They play Portland in the US Open Cup tonight so fatigue could be a bit of an issue. However I like what they have been doing this season, and think they can be a match for Dallas in this one.

Dallas are coming off that tough loss to Orlando City. They seem to have some real issues scoring at the moment and drew 0-0 at home to Real Salt Lake.

These two teams played recently in Minnesota where United came out 1-0 winners. That was a tough one for FC Dallas fans as they did enough to at least draw, however Mason Toye scored in the 91st minute to win the game for Minnesota.

Like I said Dallas should be favourites and Minnesota have a crazy record of 9 games in a row conceding a goal away. However Minnesota are on this 7 game unbeaten run and I like that to motivate them here until well after the final whistle.
