It’s Thanksgiving in America and that means a full day of football. There are three games on the slate as the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys continue their long tradition of always playing on the holiday.

The Cowboys are coming off a bad 13-9 loss that may have put the coaching staff on the hot seat. They face the Bills and their tough defense here. This is a fun match-up as the Cowboys have the second ranked offense by Football Outsiders and they are going against the 9th ranked defense. Dallas will be looking for a huge bounce back from last weekend’s disappointment.

Chicago will head to Detroit to take on the Lions. The Bears came into this season with some high expectations, but they have disappointed with a 5-6 record. They could really use a win here to keep their playoff hopes alive. Detroit, at 3-7-1, is all but eliminated from playoff contention at this point.

The night will end with the Saints heading to Atlanta to take on the Falcons. These teams always play each other well, but the Saints are having the much better season overall. They have a 9-2 record on the season and they are hot on the heels of the 49ers for the best record in the NFC.

It should be a great day of football and a great day of eating. Let’s take a look at the games.

Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions Betting Tips:

This one should be pretty bad from an offensive standpoint. The Bears are averaging just 17 points per game on the season and they haven’t had a game go over in their last five games. This one has a tiny total of just 38 points which makes it awful tempting, but it’s really hard to rely on this team to score. All five of their unders didn’t even hit that minuscule number.

With a low scoring game, it’s hard to imagine this one being a blowout. The Bears won 20-13 against Detroit a few weeks ago and with this one switching to Detroit, I am expecting another close one. It’s not out of the realm of possibility the Lions can win this and, at most, I think it’s a field goal game.

Bufffalo Bills at Dallas Cowboys Betting Tips:

Last week was the first time that the Cowboys didn’t score at least 24 points in five weeks. This is one of the top offenses in the league for a reason and I think they are going to be pulling out all the stops here. Not only does this team need a win, these coaches need to save their jobs and I’m expecting them to be very aggressive with the play calling here.

I think the Bills will be able to keep up though. They have one of the better running games in the league and that can really open up the offense. This line opened at +8 for the Bills which was way high and has since come down to +6.5. That’s a tougher spot and a number I don’t feel comfortable with.

What I do feel comfortable with is the over. The Cowboys offense should be on today and the Bills will do whatever it takes to keep up.

New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons Betting Tips:

Oh, when the Saints! Go marching in! Oh, when the Saints go marching in!

It’s a good thing this game isn’t being played in New Orleans because you would be hearing that song a lot today. As it stands, you’ll just hear stunned silence and audible groans as the Saints ruin the holiday of everyone at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. I really have no doubts in the Saints offense here and I think they are winning this game by at least ten points.
