Quite the night of hockey last night.

Oilers have now lost two in a row! When there was lots of optimism about the team following the return of McDavid and the trade deadline. Crazy stuff.

The Penguins have also now lost 4 in a row as they got beat by the LA Kings 2-1. Ouch.

It’s a very busy day in hockey today with 10 games taking place on Thursday, February 27th so let’s get cracking shall we?

Blackhawks at Lightning Bet: A bit of a risky one this as the Blackhawks offense has been hot and cold and the Hawks team is ice cold at the moment. However I think the Blackhawks raise their game for this one tonight. Tampa will be desperately seeking the win and after a few high scoring games lately I like more on the cards. 1u on Over 6.5 at +100 odds. Not sure about the Stamkos situation but shouldn’t affect it.

Rangers at Canadiens Bet: The New York Rangers are one of my favourite teams at the moment. I backed them against the Islanders and I will back them again here. They just keep going and fighting and you can never count them out. Even if Montreal goes up 3-0 or something this is the type of squad that would mount a comeback. 3u on the Rangers at +225 odds.

Leafs at Panthers Bet: What has happened to this Panthers team? So little fight lately. The over in this one is set at 7 goals. Is it crazy I want to go with it? However I must show restraint here. I am actually going to bet 1u on the Leafs at -115 odds. The criticism from the Hurricanes game is still strong and they will continue to be motivated. This is a key game in the playoff race and I like the Leafs to come out winners here.

Stars at Bruins Bet: The Bruins have now lost two in a row and this is the first time they have lost at least two games in a row in regulation all season long. A big game against an excellent Dallas Stars team who are killing it at the moment. I can’t bet anything here but I do see some slight value on the Dallas Stars.

Wild at Red Wings Bet: Call me crazy but I could almost see this one being an upset for the Detroit Red Wings. Minnesota are such an all ove the place team. They struggle on the road. Just feels like a spot that the Red Wings pull off a big surprise.

Canucks at Senators Bet: Canucks have been a good team to bet at home. Not on the road. Now they’ve got a relatively easy game against the Senators. However Ottawa can pull off the upset and often perform well at home. I do think Canucks will take it but not sure if they can do it in regulation. No bet for me.

Flames at Predators Bet: This is a very close game and the odds reflect that. Nashville have put in solid performances lately other than the Hurricanes game. Calgary just coming off that great win over Boston and playing excellent hockey. I find Calgary hard to back but their road record lately is tremendous. Flames +120 1u.

Islanders at Blues Bet: Intriguing game. The Blues are crushing it at the moment. The Islanders are hit and miss. They are struggling against playoff teams and that’s not a good thing. I do think this will be competitive. 1u on over 5.5 goals at +110 odds. If the Islanders were in desperate need of wins I’d go higher. Should be competitive though.

Capitals at Jets Bet: I like Winnipeg to put on a better performance here. They will be motivated after that loss and they need every win they can get. 1u on the over 6.5 at -110 odds.

Devils at Sharks Bet: The way the Devils are playing, I’d love to back them however with Couture back I think that changes the Sharks. I could see the over but not playing it here.
