It’s Friday, and what a weekend we have ahead of us.

The highlight of the weekend by far will be UFC 196, and we’ll have our UFC 196 Betting Tips up early Saturday morning. We just want to wait and watch the weigh-ins first. We don’t want to tip McGregor by KO if Nates team end up shooting him during the weigh-ins or anything.

What an explosive press conference that was yesterday. Just amazing to see. I don’t think I’ve been more hyped for a fight in a long time. And coming right off Silva vs Bisping – UFC is hot at the moment. And then following this one we’ve got some big heavyweight bouts with Hunt vs Mir and Rothwell vs Dos Santos coming up as headliners.

I feel bad for the people who aren’t UFC fans or who have got tired of the over-saturation because man – this is one of the best times to be a UFC fan.

Alright let’s see what we can rustle up for today:

NHL Picks:

Only 3 games in the NHL today let’s analyze them all:

Blue Jackets vs Oilers: The Oilers are getting some results out there and it’s been quite impressive. Talbot is playing very well and the Oilers got a massive 4-0 win over the Flyers. However the Jackets are a solid team and can be tough to beat at home. They’re a bit leaky at home which is a concern however the Oilers aren’t playing Talbot tonight. That’s going to make things trickier for them as they have confidence in him. After playing last night too we think they will come in overconfident and I’m going to say Jackets take the win here.

Capitals vs Rangers: A massive game yet the Rangers are surprisingly big underdogs. I don’t see the Rangers rolling over here however the 5 line is just too good to ignore. I’ll be placing a small bet on the Rangers for pure value, but I think here we’ve just got to go with Over 5 goals. Two of the best offenses in the league and the New York Rangers are going to be out to prove a point after that beastly loss against the Penguins. Lundqvist looks to be in net but who knows if he is a bit injured or not – he didn’t look too good last night – and this one should have a lot of goals in it.

Stars vs Devils: The value on the New Jersey Devils here against the Dallas Stars. The Stars are on a very bad run at the moment and have been struggling. They also look like they know they’re playoff bound and will stumble their way across the finish line. The Devils meanwhile are coming off a massive win and huge comeback and they’re showing they have the will to win at the moment. The Stars may be complacent here – we wouldn’t blame them – and we love the value on the Devils.
