Welcome to the Sports Betting Tips for December 12th, 2018.

Sorry I haven’t been doing golf tips on Wednesdays. It’s a combination of a lack of tournaments and a real lack of time.

I was actually hoping to cover the Dunhill tournament this week for example but I mean betting closes in 8 hours and I still haven’t did any work on it. Rather than just do some quick bets I figure it is best to skip it.

For today let’s focus on tonights NHL and NBA action.

NHL Bets December 12th, 2018

My only actual tip is Flames to win in regulation. Decent enough price of -120 on that. Yeah sure they have Mike Smith in net but if you look at what he has been up to lately he is getting better. He’s someone that really streaks hot and cold and I believe he is in the middle of a hot streak so I’m fine backing the boy based on that.

If you’re looking for long shot bets – there’s a small part of me that thinks the Hawks will win tonight. Don’t ask me why. Everything points against them. However most teams rise up to the occasion playing a team with the name/brand value of the Penguins. While Hawks are on a bad run they can still put the puck in the back of the net. Penguins are weak sauce on the road and I dunno – I smell an upset.

Stars/Ducks is a coin flip and the odds confirm that. Personally at +275 I’m backing that one to go to overtime with Ducks at home that’s a strong possibility. Look how many of their games have went to OT. It’s not an official tip as Stars on the road is never a good thing – they are bad.

Knights/Islanders is one where I swing both ways on who will win so I’d rather take Islanders if I was betting it. I wouldn’t touch that one though.

NBA Bets December 12th, 2018

Two plays in the NBA tonight.

Grizzlies -3.5: This was one of those where the line immediately jumped out at me when I opened the odds today and looking at it even more closely – hell yeah I’m in on this one. Blazers on a back to back and Grizzlies want to remind everyone why they are going to be a playoff team. After losing two in a row they should be fired up at home. Blazers had that tough second half against the Rockets and I think they’ll be out of steam tonight. Grizzlies aren’t a fast team so it will be close for a bit I believe but we will see a similar second half for the Blazers.

Warriors -6.5: So Warriors are without Draymond and Curry and still almost beat the Kawhi led Raps? And now those guys are back and Kawhi has a hip issue? Yeah sounds good to me. Warriors are on a revenge tour at the moment and they should sweep the Raps aside tonight and remind them who is boss.
