Great to be back here at SportsBettingTips.org to cover the golf.
This week we will be looking at the Northern Trust Open.
However prior to that I do need to mention the PGA Championship which was a couple of weeks ago, as it ended up being a profitable tournament.
It could have been a lot better as we had the 150/1 Cameron Champ to win or place in the Top 8. Unfortunately he couldn’t hang in there despite being among the leaders the whole way. He was leading about halfway through then a double bogey seemed to crush him. He went from a potential big win to not even placing, finishing 10th.
However we had two winners and one of them was an SBT Exclusive.

My bets are split often so if I advise to win and top 5 for 1u, take 1u and split it 0.5u on to win, 0.5u on Top 5. if you are at a sportsbook that supports E/W betting, go with that.
3u on Bryson DeChambeau to win at +1100. Driving could be a big factor here and that’s what DeChambeau brings to this course. if you look at the history it is all about aggression and that’s what he brings. I also think the price is good on DeChambeau and am happy to go with him.
1u on Tony Finau at +3300 to win & Top 5. Tony is that guy you never want to bet because he never wins but boy does he place often. I’ve got to go with him due to the price. That’s what it is about with Tony – you basically bet based on whether it is worth it knowing at best you are probablly getting that Top 5 cash and that’s it. I’d say JUST bet Top 5 but seriously the dude has to win one day right?
1u on Xander Schauffele at +2200 to win & Top 5. Not a pick I am super motivated here due to some weak past performances but has some good golf going on right now and stands out on the metrics of this course.
1u on Paul Casey at +5000 to win & Top 5. Casey is looking good and of course got us that cash. He’s also performed well at TPC Boston. Surprised by the odds. Have to take it.
1u on Cameron Champ at +9000 to win & Top 5. I’m a bot concerned by him after that PGA Championship collapse and think he may struggle due to that. However while putting is a big factor here Champ has looked good on Bentgrass.
1u on Patrick Reed at +3000 to win & Top 5. Not a pick I was super excited about as I felt the price wasn’t that great. However I weighed it all up and just felt It was worth the play.
