Welcome to the Sports Betting Tips for November 18th, 2014.

It was an excellent 2-1 day yesterday with some high value. Our first win was early in the day with the English League Two. We went with Burton Albion with their new manager Jimmy Flod Hasselbaink to get the big win over Wycome. They did that for a great start to the day.

In the NHL, we tipped the Tampa Bay Lightning at a great value and they duly delivered, decimating the New York Rangers.

Our sole loss was in football. The Steelers started well and finished well – which was great. What wasn’t great was them being shutout in the 2nd and 3rd quarter. We had the Steelers -6 and in a tight and fun game, the Steelers won by 27-24 failing to cover the point spread.

Still – a 2-1 day with 2 good value bets is nothing to be sneezed at.

It’s November 18th 2014, let’s see what we have for you today:

Scotland vs England Betting Tips

What a great game this should be. Scotland are just on fire at the moment, and Gordon Strachan has them playing better football than anyone can remember.

A few years ago Scotland would be massive underdogs. As it is they’re a shade over 3/1 which is still big.

England play well – we like the way they play at the moment. They’ve very co-ordinated and plan well and so on and so forth – but all that goes out of play in this fixture.

We’re going to play it what we feel is relatively safe. We think Scotland has what it takes to beat England but just not enough to bank on it. We’ll go with Scotland or Draw instead. 4/5 odds on that is a very very very good price.

Bet: Scotland or Draw Double Chance bet available at Bet365.

NHL Betting Tips for November 18th:

Lightning vs Islanders: Lightning are coming off that stellar victory last night. Their offense is great, and these two teams already had a 7 goal thriller just a few days ago.

We’ve got a lot of great talent of the future in this one, with Stamkos on fire at the moment and of course Tavares & co really doing the business. Islanders will probably win this one but Tampa can’t be counted out. We like it to be a very open game and are going with Over 5.5 goals.

Ducks vs Flames: Ducks are struggling at the moment but this is a great opportunity for them to turn things around. They’ve had a few blips – I mean come on they lost to the freaking Panthers. That’s okay. Anaheim will turn it around tonight. Calgary have been solid this season but this is a game where the overall quality and depth of Anaheims squad will prevail.

Coyotes vs Capitals: We hate the Capitals here at the offices. There’s so many games where they just don’t show up. But at 1.83 odds against a weak Coyotes team – do they even have to show up to win? Bet Capitals for the win.
