This week in golf we’ve got the PGA Championship.

It’s a tournament where I haven’t had much luck in the past, but I did correctly pick Brooks Koepka to win in 2019, and then in 2020 had the 100/1 Paul Casey E/W bet place so that was nice.

Hopefully get something here although as I’ve said in the past – bloody hate tipping Majors as there is so much to them etc and so much additional analysis and so on. In saying that – E/W places are generally nice.

This is going to be a difficult course. I have no real confidence due to just guesses on what will work on this course and some data from 2012. Basically if it wasn’t a Major I’d skip it. Just small bets. Let’s get to it:

PGA Championship 2021 Betting Tips:

With the potential winds, I can’t take Dechambeau. E/W is Top 8.

$62.50 on Justin Thomas To Win & E/W at 16/1:

Not coming in on rocking form but it means we’re getting a good price on him. He’s under the radar but he is playing well, and I think can be a solid contender here.

$125 on Xander Schauffele To Win & E/W at 22/1:

Good when it comes to the big tournaments. Playing well. I go back and forth on whether he can perform on this course well but I think he can.

$62.50 on Cameron Smith To Win & E/W at 40/1

Not the best PGA Championship history but on form at the moment and handles wind well.

$62.50 on Gary Woodland To Win & E/W at 100/1.

Surprising price for him and happy to back it. Has struggled with injuries but seems good now.

$62.50 on Sam Burns To Win & E/W at 60/1

Considering his form, crazy price. Yeah he doesn’t have the Majors form but still worth a bet at that price.
