Premier League Darts 2013 Night Eleven (Dublin) Premium Picks.

It’s a big night of six Premier League Darts matches tonight, with four men on double duty – Andy Hamilton, Raymond van Barneveld, Michael van Gerwen and Phil Taylor. The action is coming all the way from another country tonight, with Dublin taking centre stage tonight. The crowd are usually raucous here, and I expect nothing less from them tonight. We’ve got Andy Hamilton and Phil Taylor starting off this evening, then Raymond van Barneveld tries to get the upper-hand over Michael van Gerwen. Robert Thornton has his hands full against James Wade, and Simon Whitlock takes on Adrian Lewis in the final match of the evening. Oh, and before that, Raymond van Barneveld and Phil Taylor take to the stage again, this time to face each other.

Andy Hamilton Vs Phil Taylor

Both men will fancy their chances here. Hamilton’s been playing well, he’s already got the win over Taylor in this year’s Premier League. But Taylor is/was one of Hamilton’s bogeys, and Taylor will still have that mental edge over them.

Andy Hamilton to score most 180s Vs Phil Taylor: Evens @ 888sport.

Raymond van Barneveld Vs Michael van Gerwen.

A big clash to decide who’s going to finish the Premier League Darts season as the league winner. Michael van Gerwen got the win in their first match, and he’ll be brimming with confidence after his two wins last week. Barney also won a hard fought match last week, and their previous encounter would have been different if it wasn’t for missed doubles by the elder statesman of Dutch darts.

Raymond van Barneveld to beat Michael van Gerwen: 15/8 @ 888sport.

Recommend: 1.5 units.

Robert Thornton Vs James Wade:

A few weeks ago, Robert Thornton was the man people weren’t wanting to play. While it might still be the case, it’s perhaps even more so for James Wade. Both men are playing solid darts, and both will be wanting to bounce back after loses last week.

James Wade to beat Robert Thornton: 11/10 @ 888sport.

Simon Whitlock Vs Andy Hamilton.

Second match of the night for Andy Hamilton, and he takes on The Wizard, who had a big win last week over Robert Thornton. On paper, it’s going to be close. Where I think it will be won is the 180s and Simon Whitlock was outstanding on the treble 20s last week. He does it again, he crushes Hamilton.

Simon Whitlock to score more 180s than Andy Hamilton: Evens @ <888sport.

Raymond van Barneveld Vs Phil Taylor.

There’s nothing more special in darts than Barney vs The Power. I don’t care what anyone says, it’s still a spectacle, especially when Barney gets the Taylor demons out of his head.

Over 5.5 180s in Van Barneveld Vs Taylor match: 5/6@ 888sport.

Recommend: 2 units.

Michael van Gerwen Vs Adrian Lewis.

Adrian Lewis has been playing like the World No.30, not the World No.3 during this year’s Premier League. Michael van Gerwen has climbed above Lewis in the rankings, and going by this year’s Premier League Darts, that won’t change any time soon. Lewis has been shocking and needs a drastic turn of fortune to change that opinion. His only shining light is Van Gerwen will have already played once. The downside? It didn’t affect him too badly against James Wade last week. Yes, he let Wade back in, almost, but he closed out a victory against a very capable player.

Highest checkout in Van Gerwen Vs Lewis match over 118.5: 5/6 @ 888sport.

Recommend: 3 units.

That’s it for tonight’s Premier League Darts action from Dublin.
