Seattle Seahawks vs Los Angeles Rams Betting Tips

It’s been a big week for the Los Angeles Rams as they finally fired Jeff Fisher as their head coach. There were rumors of John Harbaugh making his way to LA to coach the team, but those were quickly shot down. The Rams shouldn’t rush this move and make sure that they get the right guy for the job. For football in LA to be successful, they need to build a winning culture and that was not going to happen under Fisher. What they do next is big for them.

Of course, the first thing they are going to do next is play the Seattle Seahawks who are leading the NFC West right now. While they haven’t been quite as scary as they were a couple of years ago, the Seahawks are still one of the toughest teams in the NFL. They are coming off a loss last week in Green Bay, but they always lose in Green Bay so you shouldn’t put too much stock into it. They come into this game as a huge -16 point favorite over the Rams.

Seattle has actually lost two of their past three games as they were shutdown in Tampa Bay and Green Bay, but home is another story. Seattle is 6-0 at home this season and has been one of the best home teams in all of football since their stadium was built. It’s a loud place to play and it could be big trouble for the Rams.

NFL Betting Tips:

Sixteen points is a lot of points to give up in a professional football game. Especially when you have an offense that is so hard to predict like Seattle. Their last three games have seen them score 5, 40 and 10 points. It’s feast or famine with these guys.

The Rams are terrible though. An awful, bad, no good football team. They’ve lost four straight and their last three games have been by a total of 28, 16 and 28. So, maybe 16 points isn’t so much.

Seattle always plays great at home and they should be extra motivated after last week’s bad loss to the Packers. I expect this offense to come out firing and looking more like they did against Carolina (40-7) than they have in any of their recent losses. This game won’t be pretty, but the Seahawks -16 should roll.

In fact, they should roll so hard that this game looks like an easy over 38 points. This number feels weirdly low as it’s one of the lowest a Seahawks game has had all year. That’s all on the Rams, but it still feels like the Seahawks offense is being underrated here.

NBA Betting Tips:

I don’t love the Pacers this season, but also I don’t love a team on a back-to-back in Miami and New Orleans. Someone is going to be hungover for this one, right? This is a weird line and it feels like a result of the schedule. Give me the Pelicans +4.

Speaking of back-to-backs, how about the Spurs on the road against the Suns? Phoenix is frisky at times and there is a good chance LaMarcus Aldridge misses this one. Suns +8
