It’s Saturday, September 12th and we’re here for your daily dose of free sports betting tips.

If you missed Thursdays blog post be sure to check it out – Sitting Down With The Bookies.

It’s a great feature we offer on a weekly basis here at SportsBettingTips.org where we actually sit down with the people who set the lines, and get their input. We’re allowed to ask them a few questions each week and they are usually very open and honest with us.

This week was the sportsbook Sports Interaction and it was fun bringing up MLB with them. They are a primarily Canadian sportsbook so they are getting tons of Jays action. One of those things where they are basically losing money hand over fist every night no matter the odds.

Alright so anyway we’re one day removed from the NFL season and we can’t wait for that. In the meantime let’s get to the sports betting tips for today. We’ll have NFL betting tips tomorrow for you!

Soccer Betting Tips:

In the Scottish Premiership, we’ll be taking Ross County to win away against Motherwell.

Ross County have looked very solid in the last couple of games. They absolutely destroyed Kilmarnock 4-0 away, and then they dominated Dundee Utd 2-1 at home. Motherwells form has been up and down. They got a key 1-0 win over Kilmarnock last time out, but prior to that they’ve been just awful including having to go to extra time to beat East Fife in the cup. Ross County are a nice 13/8 which is a good price. Bookies are expecting a draw here but we think they can steal it.

We also like Dundee to beat Partick Thistle. The Jags are just not looking good this season while Dundee so far have been very lively and are currently 6th. The price of 9/5 is solid value here for Dundee to take the win.

Onto Sundays Barclays Premier League.

There are two games which we will be tipping. First one is Sunderland vs Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs have been fairly underwhelming so far this season, but the bookies still have them as high favourites to beat Sunderland. We’re actually goign to take the draw on this one at 5/2 odds. Spurs are favourites more on name value than anything else. Tottenham Hotspur are currently lacking the killer instinct this season and we think this one will be a draw.

In the other game – Leicester vs Aston Villa we are going to take Over 2.5 goals. Villa are usually good for a goal against weaker opposition, and Leicester are also good for a goal or two. The only concern is a 1-1 draw but we like how lively Leicester have been at home like their 4-2 win over Sunderland. Villas offense showed confidence in the Sunderland game and we like this to be a good scrap with at least 3 goals.

That’s it for us. Be sure to visit tomorrow morning early on for some NFL Betting Tips as we kickstart the NFL Season in style with a winning week.

We hope!
