Welcome to the free sports betting tips for Monday, September 12th, 2016.

Ugh, I’m stuffed after such a big weekend of sport. We started off the NFL season over the weekend, and that was on top of two of the biggest derbies in world football – the Old Firm derby and the Manchester derby. It honestly doesn’t get much better than that for me, and I’m sure you will have felt the same. We also had some darts action from Germany to keep us entertained during the downtime between matches, as well as the US Open Finals, with Kerber and Wawrinka writing their names into the history books, and the NRL Finals. We won’t get too many weekends like this over the year, so I want to savour this with one last hurrah with Monday Night Football both in the US and England. Yes, it’s the start of the working week, but with two big matches tonight in the NFL and one in England, I’m still counting it as the weekend!

Tonight, it’s not the glamorous games in the NFL or the English Premiership, but I don’t care. We’ve got some action to bet on, there’s some lines I like, so that’s the most important thing.

Now, let’s get onto the free sports betting tips for September 11th, 2016.

NFL Betting Tips

We also have the Steelers taking on the Redskins in Washington. There is far less drama around the first game of the evening, and we should actually get a decent game of football as two good sides face each other. The main story is around the missing players for the Steelers, with Bell out and Bryant a long-term absentee. Add Markus Wheaton to the list of players that the Steelers might ave been counting on, and it doesn’t look like the easiest of matches for them to start the season. In fact, Washington will come in closer to favouritism than many might have thought. The fact is, the injuries and suspensions don’t look great for Pittsburgh, and when you factor in home field advantage, Redskins to beat the Steelers is the play. The 1.5 line doesn’t interest me, I’d rather just take Washington on the moneyline.

We welcome back the LA Rams to the NFL, and as they head to San Francisco for their first game in 21 years in the competition, there’s so many things I could write about. But you know what, I’ll avoid all the controversy and just look at the actual sporting aspect of things. This is going to boil down to defence here, and the Rams look to have the better of the 49ers on that front. Plus, the 49ers lack anything in terms of really dangerous offence, so this should be a scappy win for the ‘new boys’. Get on Rams-3 and go down in the history books.

Sunderland vs Everton Betting Tip

Everton to beat Sunderland is the selection here. I like what Ronald Koeman has done with Everton, and they have made a great start to the season. Sunderland have done what you would expect, they’ve been dour, dogged and nothing short of boring. But that’s what they need to do if David Moyes’ team are to stay up this season. It’s all down to Koeman’s tactical acumen against that of David Moyes, and I think the Dutchman comes up on top here with a far classier team, too. Everton are great value, and I expect them to win a scrappy encounter by the odd goal or two.
