It was so nice to have the UEFA Champions League back, and we went 2-1 with the betting tips yesterday.
We had Galatasaray vs Anderlecht to go Over 2.5 goals. Unfortunately that did not happen as it ended 1-1. A very surprising and lacklusture performance from the Turks.
We had a nice big win with Zenit. We tipped them at 10/3 odds and they destroyed Benfica so that was a huge cash and a really nice price.
Finally we also had Real Madrid -2 and they made short work of Basel to make it a great pay day for us.
If you missed it – we also did a Champions League Challenge. We had Arsenal to win 2-1 which lost, a No Draws accumulator which lost in the last bloody minute, and then the “Goals in a Half” where we went 4-4, and thanks to Benfica vs Zenit at 21/10 had a nice profit there.
So the challenges were essentially break-even for Tuesday. We have the Goals in a Half today, as well as the No Draws Accumulator.
With it being the UEFA Champions League again today, we will of course have 3 betting tips for that. Let’s get to it:
UEFA Champions League Betting Tips: Chelsea vs Schalke
Big game for Jose Mourinhos men, in the season where secretly I am sure he is hoping for much Champions League sucess. Schalke are missing a lot of key defenders which Chelsea should take advantage of.
The only real issue with Chelsea is that they can be slow starters. They have no problem playing a patient game – which is why even though they are 3/10 to win, the odds are 5/6 for Chelsea-Chelsea.
Instead, we are going to go with the Asian Handicap. At your bookies it might be listed at -1.5, -2.0 but do not bet that. Instead look for the alternative asian handicap line and with that, find -1.5. The odds on Chelsea -1.5 are 1.725 which is a fair price – we like Chelsea to win this one by at least 2 goals.
UEFA Champions League Betting Tips: Bayern Munich vs Man City
It seems a lot of people are going with Munich for the win and I understand why – we were close to tipping them, but are instead going to switch things around and go for Man City or the Draw.
That bet pays 5/4 odds and is a good one – all it means is Munich can’t win.
Munich are the favourites for sure and City struggle in Europe – but resting Yaya Toure was massive on the weekend, and you have to expect a full 90 minute performance from him.
With so much other talent in the City squad, we think they’re good for holding Munich here or even snatching the win.
UEFA Champions League Betting Tips: Ajax vs PSG
We’re getting a good price on PSG here. Yes they’re away but they have just a wealth of talent, while Jax have recently lost Blind and De Jong. Two massive losses. Ajax have struggled with losses to PSV and Groningen and just barely beat Heracles.
This is a great time for PSG to get a massive win in the group stage away to the 3rd best team.
