It’s been quite the thrilling two days in the PGA Tour Championship.

We tipped Jordan Spieth to win, and he looked very motivated today. After a killer day by Stenson yesterday who went -7, Spieth stepped up today and closed the gap to just 3 shots which is going to make for an exciting finish.

We also have Justin Rose in the Top 4 and he is just 2 strokes off that with a solid -2 today. However with Rory McIlroy hanging in there it’s going to be interesting. And it’s amazing to see what can change a golfer. Jason Day after hitting all those birdies, misses one, hits a par and then the next hole a triple bogey. Going to be hard for him to come back from that in all honestly.

Tomorrow we have the Barclays Premier League, and we’ve also got CFL action over the weekend so let’s get to that for todays betting tips:

Barclays Premier League Betting Tips:

A big week that kicks off with Tottenham vs Man City.

We’ll take Man City for the win in that one. However the odds aren’t too favourable at 10/11 – we’re just tipping them because we’ve been asked who we think will win. We’d highly recommend taking Man City 1-0 at 17/2 instead. We think we’ll see a much tighter Man City this week.

For those wondering, Lawro tipped 2-0 to City.

We also feel there is value in Leicester to beat Arsenal at 7/2 odds. Arsenal have looked so rocky this season and Leicester are firing on all cylinders. They are coming off that big win against West Ham and being at home is a huge price there. We’d get a small bet on that.

Finally for the Barclays Premier League, you just have to take West Ham to beat Norwich. 5/4 odds is a great price considering Norwich away got thumped by Southampton just 3 weeks ago. West Ham meanwhile are on a tear beating the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle and Man City in their last 3 BPL games.

CFL Betting Tips:

It’s Week 14 in the CFL and we’re starting to see a clear playoff picture – although we’re still at the stage where anything can happen.

The biggest game is in the East, with the Toronto Argonauts vs the Ottawa REDBLACKS. We’re going to go with REDBLACKS -3 on that one. It’s a tough game but we just feel the REDBLACKS have some solid momentum and coming off the game against the Riders, they will be absolutely full of confidence. We’re also very impressed with the way they have been playing both offensively and defensively.

We’re also going to back the Montreal Alouettes -1.5. A nice point spread to the point we’re worried it’s a trap. The Alouettes defense is very good at the moment and should have no trouble with the Riders. So get the hell on that.

We’re a bit late for todays game so we’ll only cover the other one which is BC Lions +11 versus the Edmonton Eskimos. Eskimos will win but Lions are better than that line gives them credit for. We also didn’t like what we saw from Edmonton last week and feel B.C. keep it close.
